CONSTITUTION:A gear transmission device is constructed by combining a gear 8 the addendum 4 of which is constructed by a superconductor 6 with a gear 10 the addendum 10 of which is constructed by a magnetic pole 14. By such construction, repulsion due to Meissner effect works between the superconductor 6 of the addendum 4 of the gear 8 and the magnetic pole 14 of the appendum 10 of the gear 16. And for example, when rotary force is applied to the gear 8 from a power source side, the gear 16 as a load side is driven with a fixed space therebetween. Accordingly, the mutual gears 8, 16 rotate with keeping the fixed space so that mechanical contact sliding is eliminated. As a result, any noise does not occur and wear can be eliminated.
