      SOLUTION: A cage 22 of a needle bearing 3 has a cylindrical extension part 28 arranged along an inner ring 12 of a cylindrical roller bearing 2 and a flange part 29 extending outward in the radial direction from its right end part. The cage 22 of the needle bearing 3 and an outer ring 11 of the cylindrical roller bearing 2 are joined by fitting an outside end part in the radial direction of the flange part 29 to an inward projecting part 17 arranged in a collar part 15 of the outer ring 11.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve insertion properties of rollers to pockets of a comb retainer without deteriorating assembly properties of a mating raceway ring and without causing a trouble during use of a bearing.
      SOLUTION: An annular part 4a of a comb retainer 4 is divided into two in an axial direction and an annular spacer 5 including a cut part 5a at one section in a circumference direction is put between divided end surfaces of the divided annular parts 4a. Consequently, the annular spacer 5 is inserted between the divided end surfaces and a tip of a retreated column part 4b is put closer to an outer flange 1b of the inner ring 1, after the divided end surfaces of the annular part 4a are adhered and the tip of the column part 4b is retreated from the outer flange 1b of an inner ring 1 in a roller insertion side and all rollers 3 are inserted and are arranged on the raceway surface 1a when the rollers 3 are inserted in the pocket. Insertion properties of the rollers 3 to the pocket of the comb retainer 4 can be improved without deteriorating assembly properties of the mating outer ring and without causing a troubles during use of the bearing.
