摘要： PURPOSE: To prevent break of a bridging part at the time of capping and easily remove a cap from a mold at the time of molding by a method wherein a projection of a cap body and a projection of a TE band are engaged with each other when the TE cap is closed. CONSTITUTION: A cap body 4 consists of a top plate part 2 and a skirt part 3 vertically provided downward from the peripheral edge thereof. A tamper evident (TE) band 6 having a fastening projection piece engaging with a bore part of a container at the inner peripheral surface thereof is connected to the cap body 4 through a bridging part 5 at the lower part of the skirt part 3. In this TE cap 1, the cap body 4 is provided with a projection 11 on the lower outer peripheral surface of the skirt part 3. On the other hand, the TE band 6 has an inner diameter set to be larger than the outer diameter of the cap body 4 and is provided with a projection 10 on the upper inner peripheral surface thereof. The projection 11 of the cap body 4 and the projection 10 of the TE band 6 are engaged with each other when the TE cap 1 is closed, whereby the break of the bridging part 5 at the time of capping is prevented.

Also, a score 40 which extends along a bridged part 22 which is hard to break is provided at a location which is higher than the extended location of the weakened line 10 in the peripheral direction.
