摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an edible carrier of an agent, for pets, and for efficiently medicating animals.SOLUTION: The edible carrier of an agent includes a body having an accepting space in the body, and a cover, where the body and the cover are each made of the same material as a pet food and the body has the same appearance as that of generally seen pet foods. The body and the cover respectively have annular first and second walls, where the first and second walls respectively have a first engagement unit and a second engagement unit corresponding to each other. Medicine is placed in the accepting space, and the cover is then fixed on the body by engaging the first engagement unit with the second engagement unit such that the medicine is fixed in the body. Further, the carrier has a shape and odor like a pet food, so that efficient administration of the medicine is enabled by mixing the carrier with a pet food to feed to the animal.

SOLUTION: This method for acquiring whole-grain feed for ruminants comprises a second process of crushing selected cereal, and a third process of mixing the crushed cereal into an inorganic substance, pellet, and fiber for 3-7 min until obtaining homogeneous mass. The method (procedure) includes a fourth process of adding fat components, and a sixth process of adding a protein source. Furthermore, the method (procedure) comprises an eighth process of drying the obtained piece by hot air, and a ninth process of adding liquid coating to add a nonprotein nitrogen source and amino acid. The final process of the method (procedure) comprises a tenth process of adding solid coating containing antibiotic and an inorganic substance, and an eleventh process of spraying cold air to cool the whole-grain feed piece in order to obtain a finished product whose temperature range does not exceed more than 5°C above room temperature, and residue humidity does not exceed 11%.
