    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control technology for an interface device between a man and a computer, particularly control for a vibrotactile sensation effect of a vibrotactile feedback device. SOLUTION: A method for controlling a vibrotactile interface device from a host computer includes determining a desired tactile effect output by the vibrotactile interface device to a user who operates the vibrotactile interface device, and inputting information on the independent magnitude and frequency of vibration to the vibrotactile interface device. A rotary motor of the vibrotactile interface device is driven by a periodic control signal based on the information, to rotate a mass body in one direction, and the rotation of the mass body causes vibration with the desired magnitude and frequency to be output to the user.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interface which provides a tactile sense to a user, especially concerning a man-machine interface. SOLUTION: The man-machine interface which provides a tactile sense feedback to a body for various senses is presented. The device uses one or more vibration tactile sense units (1801-1805). Each unit has a mass and a mass motion actuator. When the mass is accelerated by the mass motion actuator, a whole vibration tactile sense unit is vibrated. In this way, a fixed vibration tactile sense unit sends the stimulation of the vibration to a sensing body. The vibration sense unit may use the combination of a spatial arrangement and the sensing device, and the device measures the spatial arrangement of a measured body.
