    • PURPOSE:To attain A/D conversion with high resolution by digitally converting the deviation between input voltage and the analog conversion value of a value stored in an output register by an addition amplifier and then adding the conversion value to the value stored in the output register to output the digitally converted value. CONSTITUTION:An analog weighing signal from a load cell 10 is supplied to the addition amplifier 16 through a filter 12 and an amplifier 14. A value stored in the output register 18 is converted into an analog signal by a 16-bit D/A converter 20 and the analog signal is also supplied to the amplifier 16 with reverse polarity. Therefore, the amplifier 16 generates an output corresponding to the deviation of both analog signals. The output is supplied to a 10-bit A/D converter 22 and converted into a digital signal. In this case, the gain of the amplifier 16 is controlled so that the digital value of the analog weighing signal becomes a value obtained by adding 26 the stored value in the output register 18 to the digital value of the converter 22.
