    • PURPOSE:To variously deform a waveform and synthesize musical tone waveform signals having various timbres by merely multiplying read waveform data in logarithmic representation from a storage means by a specific value and then performing logarithmic linear conversion. CONSTITUTION:An operator unit OPU is equipped with a waveform table 92 as a storage means which stores digital data showing the logarithmic amplitude value of a specific waveform and also has a function which inputs phase data from other circuits as phase data for reading the waveform out at a desired pitch frequency, reads the digital waveform data in logarithmic representation out of the waveform table 92 based on the phase data, and performs a waveform varying process for the waveform before and after the reading. Therefore, the waveform deformation by multiple-degree multiplication arithmetic of the original waveform is easily performed and the degree can easily be varied by varying a specific multiple of the multiplication, so the waveform is variously deformed to synthesize musical instrument waveform signals with various timbres.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a sound source from being kept sounding by forming information with respect to a key-off signal expressing the muting instruction of a musical sound as to a musical sound whose sounding is instructed and storing the information on respective tracks when the stopping of a recording is instructed with a stop instructing means and stopping the recording of musical performance information to recording means after recordings are completed as to plural racks. SOLUTION: A central processing unit(CPU) 10 is a unit for controlling operations of the whole of this recording device and a program memory 14, a register group 16, a sequencer memory 18, an input device 20, an output device 22 a switch group 24 and a tempo generator 26 are connected to the CPU 10 via a bidirectional buss line 12. A control program for CPU 10 is stored in the memory 14. Then, in a midway in which musical performance information of plural tracks are recorded, when the stopping of a recording is instructed in a state in which a key-off signal is not yet delivered after the key-off is generated, recordings are completed after information instructing the muting of the musical sound corresponding to the instruction is recorded on the tracks.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change the input/output relation with only a rendition recording/ reproducing device main body without changing the way for setting and connecting various apparatuses by reading the rendition information according to the progress of the rendition at the time of reproduction, and outputting it to the corresponding output terminals set for the rendition information. SOLUTION: A program memory 14, a register group 16, a sequencer memory 18, an input device 20, and an output device 22 are connected via a bus line to a CPU 10 controlling the operation of the whole recording device. At the time of recording, multiple rendition information inputted from multiple input terminals is recorded on recording tracks set in advance respectively. At the time of reproduction, the rendition information recorded on multiple recording tracks is read out in parallel for the recording tracks according to the progress of the rendition, and the read rendition information is outputted to output terminals set in advance. The input/output relation can be freely changed by only a device main body.
