    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling water device for the auxiliary machine of a reactor which is provided with surge tanks that also supply cooling water to the cooling water supplying systems of a service system and an emergency system and, even when the load of the service system is installed to a position higher than that of the load of the emergency system when the cooling water supplying system of the service system is commonly used as that of the emergency system, can maintain the soundness of the emergency system in a cooling water system for auxiliary machine of reactor not only at the time of normal operation, but also when an earthquake, etc., happens. SOLUTION: A cooling water device is constituted in such a way that the cooling water supplying system of the load of a service system is commonly used as that of the load of an emergency system at the time of cooling the auxiliary machine of a reactor. The cooling water supplying system adds a hydrostatic head pressure and, at the same time, a surge tank 23 for service system is provided in the upper most part of the service system which supplies cooling water and another surge tank 20 for emergency system is provided in the uppermost part of the emergency system.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a reactor coolant purifying facility capable of improving the maintenance property and reliability of a plant and reducing the work load of plant operators by dismantling pumps of an emergency core cooling facility normally kept in the stand-by state and a reactor stopping facility, and using a normally operated reactor coolant circulating pump in common. CONSTITUTION:A decompression device 16 is installed on a facility pipe upstream of a circulating water pump 18 in a reactor coolant purifying facility. Pipes 22, 23, 24 are connected to the suction side pipes of the circulating water pump 18 from a condensate storage tank 19, a suppression pool 20, and a boric acid water tank 21 via suction valves 25, 26, 27 respectively. The condensate storage water, suppression pool water, and boric acid water can be injected into a reactor pressure vessel 11 via the circulating water pump 18.
