    • PURPOSE:To securely remove remaining ice pieces and remaining water after water sprinkling by providing a sprinkling hole for enabling water to be sprinkled at a certain angle backward ly and water draining holes for draining the remaining water in a sprinkling vessel after the sprinkling has been completed. CONSTITUTION:A sprinkling vessel 14 located above a water dish 4 is used to remove by water-sprinkling remaining ice pieces (i) in which the bottoms of square ices 15 are not separated from the upper surface 4A of the ice dish 4 and partly adhere to and are left behind the upper surface 4A of the water dish 4 when ice making has been completed and the water dish 4 is slantingly moved take out the square ices 15 from a cooler 1. The sprin kling vessel 14 includes water draining holes 17, 17 formed at opposite ends of a front row of the vessel and water sprinkling holes 18, 18... on a back row of the same, both in predeter mined pitches. The water draining hole 17 is provided at such an angle that it is directed vertically downwardly, and the water sprinkling hole 18 such that water sprinkling toward a water dish slanting support point 8 side and remaining-water draining are possible. Namely, since the water dish 4 is typically slanted by 20 deg.-25$0 upon ice separation, the water dish 4 is provided at 25 deg. with respect to the water sprinkling hole 18. Hereby, water sprinkling perpendicularly to the upper surface 4A of the water dish 4 is assured upon the water dish's being slanted, so that the water sprinkling is made possible from upstream of the upper surface plate of the water dish 4.

    • PURPOSE:To support a coil spring stably for a long period of time by forming a groove part into which a ring hook part of the coil spring edge is fitted, and a regulating part by which removal of the hook part from the groove is prevented, on a shaft body. CONSTITUTION:On a basic edge of a shaft body 17 that is protrusively formed on the arm 12 which is formed in extension on a driving cam of an ice making machinery, for example, a groove 18 into which a ring hook part 16 of a coil spring 15 is fitted is formed so as to have the hook part 16 conformed to and engaged with it. Another washer by which a regulating part 19 is formed is engaged with the shaft body 17, and the loose stopping of the regulating part 19 is executed by a spring cotter 20 that is inserted into the shaft body 17. Since the hook part is hooked on the groove part, it is never to be hooked or sandwiched to be blocked in its action, and the supporting thereof can thus be executed stably for a long period of time.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce a load applied on a driving device upon separating a water pan from ice by a method wherein hot air is supplied into a ventilating passage prior to the inclination of the water pan to heat the upper surface plate of the water pan and melt the lower surface of the ice, frozen and adhered to the surface of the upper surface plate quickly. CONSTITUTION:In so-called reverse cell type ice making device, provided with a water pan 12 arranged at the open surface side of a cooler 1 having a multitude of ice making chambers 1A opened downwardly, a warm air generator 16 is operated when ice making is finished. Generated hot air is passed through a ventilating passage 34 from an inflow port 14 and is discharged out of an air discharging port 25. When the hot air is ventilated through the ventilating passage 3. in such a manner, heat is transferred to ice through an upper surface plate 26 and melts the lower surface of the ice 43 frozen and adhered to the surface of the upper surface plate 20 whereby adhesive force between the upper surface plate 26 and the ice 43 may be weakened prior to the inclination of the water pan 12. According to this method, a load applied on the driving device 11 upon separating the upper surface plate 26 from the lower surface of the ice 43 may be reduced.

    • PURPOSE:To improve adhesive properties of an elastic adiabatic body with a peripheral edge by forming a protrusion at least one of the edges of inner and outer wall plates, inserting the protrusion into the adiabatic body, and temporarily holding it to fill with foamed material. CONSTITUTION:An ice storage box 1 has box-shaped inner and outer wall plates 3, 4 formed by bending metal plates, and is formed with collars 5, 6 bent at the peripheral edges toward one wall plate. A plurality of protrusions 7 bent perpendicularly to the inside are formed on the edge of the collar 6 of the plate 4. An elastic heat insulator 8 is inserted into the protrusion 7 to be temporarily held to determine an interval between the peripheral edges of the plates 3, 4. A foaming jig is mounted at the outside of the plates 3, 4 to fill and foam an adiabatic material 9 between the plates 3 and 4. When the adiabatic material 9 is filled and foamed, the elastic body 8 is pressed against the collars 5, 6 of the inner faces of the plates 3, 4 by foaming pressure to improve the adhesive properties thereby to prevent the foaming material from leaking due to the foaming.
