    • PURPOSE:To obtain the subject calcium phosphate-based composition having fast hardening properties and capable of development of high strength by blending phosphoric acid or a phosphate, alpha-tribasic calcium phosphate and tetrabasic calcium phosphate. CONSTITUTION:The subject hydraulic cement composition is composed of phosphoric acid or a phosphate, alpha-tribasic calcium phosphate and tetrabasic calcium phosphate. A mixture of alpha-tribasic calcium phosphate and tetrabasic calcium phosphate is obtained by mixing a Ca-containing compound with a phosphoric acid-containing compound in 1.5 to 2.0 molar ratio of Ca to phosphoric acid and sintering the resultant mixture at >=1200 deg.C. The abovementioned calcium phosphate mixture is obtained also by thermally decomposing apatite at >=1200 deg.C. Hydroxyapatite is produced by a hydration reaction of this calcium phosphate mixture but the abovementioned reaction is slow. And as respective component particles are difficult to be uniformly dispersed, phosphoric acid or a phosphate is added thereto to uniformly disperse the respective component particles, thus obtaining the objective hydraulic cement composition having fast-hardening properties due to acceleration of the abovementioned reaction and capable of development of improved strength.

    • PURPOSE:To give a bone cement component the self curing property, to lessen the harmfulness to the tissues of an organism and thus to improve the biocompatibility thereof, by adding a solution of a sodium or potassium salt to a mixture of certain powder and a carboxylic acid to form the bone cement component. CONSTITUTION:A solution of a sodium or potassium salt is added to a mixture of powder and a carboxylic acid containing two or more carboxyl groups to make a bone cement component. The solution of the sodium or potassium salt used above reacts with calcium to form an insoluble compound. The powder above includes tricalcium diphosphate [alpha-Ca3(PO4)2] and tetracalcium oxide diphosphate [Ca4O(PO4)2]. The powder of tricalcium diphosphate and tetracalcium oxide diphosphate is prepared by dehydrating and thermally decomposing a hydroxyapatite at a high temperature of 1,350 deg.C or higher and then by grinding it. The hydroxyapatite used contains calcium and phosphorus in the molar ratio of 1.66-1.68:1. The ratio of tricalcium diphosphate to tetracalcium oxide diphosphate mixed is 2:1.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a bone direct bonding type artificial limb mount member wherein the function of a material excellent in bio-compatibility can be sufficiently developed and utilized, by separating the part fixed and bonded to a bone within the cavity of the bone marrow and the part fixed to an artificial limb. CONSTITUTION:A support member 1 used in the cavity of the bone marrow, a fixing member 6 and an artificial limb fixing member 13 are provided. The rod like part 2 of the support member 1 used in the cavity of the bone marrow is the part inserted in the cavity of the bone marrow and a piercing hole 4 permits the piercing of a bolt when the support member 1 used in the cavity of the bone marrow is fixed to a bone by the bolt and a nut. The support member 1 used in the cavity of the bone marrow is assembled in the state inserted the piercing hole 11 provided to the center part of the fixing member 6. Further, the artificial limb fixing member 13 has a male screw part 19 at the head part thereof and threaded with and mounted to the female screw part 3 provided to the leg part (bottom part) of the support member 1 used in the cavity of the bone marrow. The member 13 has a screw part 25 at the lower part thereof in order to be fixed to the artificial limb. The support member 1 used in the cavity of the bone marrow and the limb fixing member 13 are composed of a metal material, a ceramic material or a material obtained by coating said material with ceramics and the fixing member 6 is composed of a porous calcium phosphate sintered body.

    • PURPOSE:An immunotherapeutic preparation that is composed of an AIDS virus monoclonal antibody bonding to carbon or a combination thereof with a magnetic body where the carbon can emit heat to rise temperature by high-frequency heating, thus showing markedly improved therapeutic effect against AIDS. CONSTITUTION:Monoclonal antibody for AIDS (acquired immune deficiency syndrome) is bonded to leaflet, scaly, particular, powdery, granular or spherical carbon of 10-0.01, preferably 3-0.01mu diameter or length, which is, e.g., graphite, amorphous carbon, diamond, polyacene, polyacetylene or other sintered products and can emit heat to rise temperature by high-frequency heating. The preparation can connect to AIDS viruses not only on their most locating sites but also on their translocating and dispersing sites by lymph nods and kill them by high-frequency heating. The preparation bonding to the magnetic body is used in the case where the blood contaminated with AIDS viruses is taken out of the body and treated, then the dead viruses are completely separated magnetically.
