When a base 27 is located at a chucking release position, the insertion guide member 110 is raised to the position where the insertion angle of an optical disk 2 that is inserted from the port 19 is controlled. When the base 27 is located at a chucking position, the insertion guide member 110 is lowered to the position where the optical disk 2 mounted on a turntable 23 is separated.       SOLUTION: This device is provided with a casing 2, a spindle motor 7 having a disk holding part 11d for holding a disk recording medium 22 and movable in a direction away from the disk recording medium inserted into the casing with respect to the same, a disk clamping mechanism 3 disposed in a side opposite the spindle motor 7 sandwiching the disk recording medium inserted into the casing, and a moving mechanism 17 for moving the spindle motor 7 in the direction away from the disk recording medium 22. The disk clamping mechanism 3 includes a supporting part 4 fixed in the casing, and a disk clamping part 6 rotatably supported by the supporting part 4 to hold the disk recording medium 22 with the disk holding part 11d of the spindle motor 7. The rotational centers of the disk holding part of the disk clamping mechanism and the spindle motor are matched with each other in axial directions.
