    • PURPOSE:To sufficiently keep the clamping force of steel pipe for a structural filler by a method in which an unbonded treating layer is provided on the boundary between the steel pipe and the structural filler for avoiding the bonding of both, and a deformation absorber is provided in a given portion of the steel pipe. CONSTITUTION:An unbonded treating layer 3 is formed between a steel pipe 1 and a structural filler 2 to avoid the bonding of both. The relative movement of both in relation to the axial direction is made possible, and the tube 2 itself is allowed to be compressed or extended axially within a fixed range by the action of a deformation absorber 4 provided near the head of the steel pipe pile 1. Impact to the pile head is almost acted as the axial compressive force on the filler 2. The occurrence of stress in the axial direction can thus be prevented, and the confining effect of the steel pipe can also be sufficiently exhibited.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and inexpensive brace damper applicable to a wooden building. SOLUTION: In this brace damper 1 arranged in the shape of a brace to a wooden framework, a steel plate 7 is laminated via a viscoelastic material 6 in one end part of a long size steel material 5 having rigidity for functioning as the brace, and the other end part of the steel material 5 and the steel plate 7 are respectively fixed to a column 2, a stud 4 or a beam 3 for constituting the wooden framework. A material folded up in a bellows shape in the width direction by leaving both end parts of a band plate-like steel plate is adopted as the steel material 5. A fixing plate part 8 fixed in a state of being brought into close contact with the column 2, the stud 4 or the beam 3 is integrally formed in the other end part of the steel material 5 by bending. The center of the steel material 5 and the center of the fixing plate part 8 are made eccentric. The one end part of the steel material 5 and the steel plate 7 are connected by a bolt 10 as a fastener so as to be capable of in-plane relative displacement, and a hole for inserting the fastener is formed as an elongate hole lengthwise in the displacement direction.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain excellent seismic control effect by operating a damper effectively, facilitate the work execution and demolition of a main structure, and reuse disassembled structural members. SOLUTION: A column 1 and a beam 2 is pin-jointed, and a damper 3 operating by relative rotation of the column and the beam due to the displacement between layers is provided in the joint parts. A connection block is provided on the joint part of the column and the beam so as to oscillate freely. The connection block consists of two steel plates, a reinforcing plate provided therebetween, and a steel pipe forming a central hole for inserting the column loosely, and a buffer material is provided between the steel pipe and the column. A viscoelastic damper in which a viscous and elastic body 3c is provided between the steel plates 3a and 3b is adopted as the damper. The viscous and elastic damper is provided in an upper corner part in a frame. A bracket 4 supporting the beam or the connection block to transmit a vertical load from the beam to the column is provided on the column. A concrete filled steel pipe column is adopted as the column.
