    • PURPOSE:To obtain an accurate moisture measuring value, by a method wherein an initial short time supplying grain between electrode rolls is neglected and the average value of a predetermined time continuing thereto is calculated and only the variation values in a definite width are averaged plural times on the basis of said average value. CONSTITUTION:When a grain feed roll 3 is rotated, grain 26 moves one at a time from the spiral feed groove 6 of the first half part 4 to the spiral feed groove 6 of the latter half part 7 and falls from a notch part to be crushed by electrode rollers 14, 15 to perform the measurement of moisture. When electric resistance is measured between the rolls 14, 15, the resistance value is converted to analogue voltage by a resistance/voltage converter 27 while the analogue voltage is converted to digital voltage by an A/D converter 28 to be inputted to CPU 29. CPU 29 removes the first slight time and calculates the average value of a predetermined time continuing thereto to determine a definite up-and-down width on the basis of said average value to cut a value shifted from the definite width and averages only the variation values in the definite width plural times to calculate a moisture content value.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a calibration device which omits the unnecessary calibration time for wavelength while accuracy required for a spectroscopic analysis is being kept, and to enhance the efficiency of a measurement by providing a means, which judges whether the calibration of the wavelength is required every time or not according to an item to be analyzed or to the state of a spectroscope, and executing the calibration of the wavelength automatically as required. SOLUTION: A reference for judging the necessity of the calibration of a wavelength is stored in a memory 10 at a CPU 9. While the judgment reference is being referred to, whether the calibration of the wavelength is executed or not in every measurement of a sample is judged. According to a judged result, whether the calibration of the wavelength is executed automatically every time or whether the measurement of the sample is performed or not without executing the calibration is decided. While an accuracy required for a spectroscopic analysis is being kept, the inessential calibration time of the wavelength is omitted, and the efficiency of the measurement is enhanced.

    • PURPOSE: To make the whole apparatus compact by providing an internal analysis device for analyzing an internal quality of grains at a moving path to an appearance analysis device analyzing an appearance of grains. CONSTITUTION: An appearance analysis device 1 is set in a moving path 2 where grains move in a longitudinal direction, so that the device 1 can communicate with the moving path 2. Moreover, an internal analysis device 3 is set in the moving path 2 before reaching the device 1 in a manner to be communicable with the moving path 2. A hopper 5 is arranged above the moving path 2 and a stagnation part 6 is formed between the devices 1 and 3. A valve 7 delivering the grains one by one is fitted at the stagnation part 6 in a rotatable fashion. The device 1 sorts the grains, e.g. to six kinds (checked rice, dead grains, colored grain, etc.) and detects respective ratios. The device 3 detects a moisture value, a component value (protein, amylose, fatty acid) and the like by, for example, a near infrared analysis and subsequently refrains from sending those grains not sufficiently ripe to the device 1. Accordingly, since the internal analysis and appearance analysis are conducted simultaneously by the devices 3, 1, the apparatus becomes compact and efficient.
