    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with coloring or speeding up while allowing stable image formation by ensuring a wide nip width with a simple structure.
      SOLUTION: A fixing roller 21 and a pressure roller 23 are opposed into a carrying passage of transfer paper 9 and set with pressurization by a spring. A fixing pressure roller 22 formed of a highly rigid material (SUS, etc.) and a bar-like heater 24 such as a halogen heater are provided on the inside of the fixing roller 21. The fixing pressure roller 22 is disposed on the downstream side of a line mutually connecting the respective center points of the fixing roller 21 and the pressure roller 23, and pressurized by the pressure roller 23 and a spring stronger than the spring between the fixing roller 21 and the pressure roller 23. Accordingly, an elastic layer of the fixing roller 21 can be unevenly deformed within a nip to form a high-pressure part on the downstream side in the carrying direction of the transfer paper 9.
