    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent plugging among stones by covering at least one face of a basket body with cobble stones and the like filled in a resin net of box shape, with unwoven fabric specified in thickness. SOLUTION: A gabion 10 comprises a basket body 11 formed of a lidded box body of square cross section, and hanging belts 12 made of synthetic fiber sewn to hang at eight points. The basket body 11 is formed of a resin net 20 made of grated synthetic fiber fabric hardened by resin. The inner surface of the basket body 11 is covered with a filter sheet 30 made of nonwoven fabric with a thickness of 1-20 mm, by sticking or sewing. Partition plates 13 made of the same material as the basket body 11, and cobble stones 14 are alternately filled in a plurality of stages in the basket body 11 to suppress the deformation of the basket body 11. When the basket body 11 is buried in an underground permeable layer, a culvert, or the like, intermixture of sediment or the like into the basket body 11, and plugging among stones are prevented, and since the filter sheet 30 is provided at the inner surface of the basket body 11, the damage of the filter sheet during work execution can be reduced.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cushioning material for civil engineering structure and a rock fall preventive fence, in which a wire basket having a preset capacity is constituted so that the cushioning performance is never dispersed even if thinnings differed in size are put therein, in order to ensure a desired void ratio when the thinnings are put therein.
      SOLUTION: The edge parts of mesh bodies 10a, 10b, 10c, 10d and 10e for front surface, back surface, both lateral side surfaces and bottom surface are connected in each edge of a rectangular parallelepiped body through a coil-like connecting fitting 12 to constitute the rectangular parallelepiped wire basket 7 having a preset capacity and substantially the same height as the length of the thinnings 8 with an opened upper surface 13. A plurality of thinnings 8 is neatly arranged in the wire basket while keeping an optimum void ratio enabling the cushioning movement of the thinnings 8.
