    • PURPOSE:To prevent surface fogging by providing a blade and a 2nd electrostatic roller while a gap which is large enough to pass toner is left between a 1st electrostatic roller and them. CONSTITUTION:This electrophotographic recording device is provided with the 1st electrostatic roller 31 which is arranged at an end part of a guide pipe 33 for conveying toner removed by a cleaning device from a photosensitive body and applied with a voltage having the opposite polarity from the normal polarity of electrostatic charging, and the blade 35 and 2nd electrostatic roller 323 which are arranged leaving the gap large enough to pass the toner between the 1st electrostatic roller 31 and them. Toner which is charged electrostatically to the normal polarity is stuck on the 1st electrostatic roller 31 and sent to the position facing the 2nd electrostatic roller 32 through the gap, and toner which is charged electrostatically to the opposite polarity is not stuck on the 1st electrostatic roller 21, dropped on the blade, and separated from the toner which is charged electrostatically to the normal polarity. Consequently, neither paper powder nor the toner which is charged to the opposite polarity enters a developing device and the toner is prevented from disturbing the formation fo a toner layer by being caught between a developing roller and a doctor blade and generating surface fogging.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent a blade from peeling and buckling locally and to obtain stable toner removal efficiency without any adjustment by providing a leaf spring which presses the blade against the surface of a photosensitive body across the tip part of a holding member to the overall length of the blade. CONSTITUTION:The blade 13 is fixed to the holding member 12 and pressed against the photosensitive body 11 by the leaf spring 14 across the holding member 12. Consequently, the blade withstands the frictional force based upon the rotation of the photosensitive body 11 and without peeling and buckling at a blade press-contacting point. Further, the leaf spring 14 is pressed to the overall length of the blade 13, so an almost uniform press-contacting force is obtained to the overall length of the blade. Stable toner removal is therefore carried out. If the holding member 12 deforms, the deformation of the holding member 12 is corrected with the press-contacting force of the leaf spring 14 because the leaf spring 14 is larger in spring constant than the holding member 12, so the nearly uniform press-contacting force is obtained to the overall length of the blade.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent occurrence of a fogging and reverse fogging phenomena and, at the same time, to print a large quantity by changing the electrostatically charging voltage of a photosensitive drum in corresponding to the use time of the drum. CONSTITUTION:It is arranged that a switch 58 is turned on while a photosensitive drum 1 is driven and turned off when the drum 1 is stopped and a timer 36 counts and displays the cumulative energized time of the drum 1. The display (position of an electrolytic solution 57) of the timer 36 is checked and, when, for example, the solution 57 reaches the center of a glass tube 55, a switch 41 is turned off. Therefore, a Zener diode 25B is connected with another Zener diode 25A in series and the potential of a grid 22 becomes higher by the quantity of the Zener diode 25B. The voltage of the Zener diode 25B is made to almost correspond to the voltage drop caused by the reduction in the thickness of the photosensitive body until then. Therefore, printing on many sheets can be performed while occurrence of a fogging or reverse fogging phenomena is prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a device by writing an electrostatic latent image on the surface of a photosensitive body by a light source for optical writing then bringing a recording medium into contact with the surface of the photosensitive body and developing an electrostatic latent image via the recording medium. CONSTITUTION:The surface potential of a primary electrostatic charge of the photosensitive body 1 by an electrostatic charge means 2 is maintained at 100V and optical writing is executed with an LED array as a light source to form an electrostatic latent image. A magnet roll 12 of a developing means 10 is rotated at 1,000rpm and a sleeve 13 is rotated in the same direction as the rotating direction of the roll 12. Paper for a dry process copying machine is used for the recording medium. Such paper is developed by bringing the same into contact with the surface of the body 1 and thereafter the toner image is fixed to the paper by pressure fixing, then the record of the sharp image is obtd. The conventional developing and transferring are simultaneously executed in this case and therefore the need for the electrostatic charge means is eliminated and the size of the device is reduced.

    • PURPOSE:To control the print density with simple constitution where a developer stuck to an electrostatic latent image part of an electrostatic latent image carrier is increased or reduced, by controlling the supply quantity of the developer which is attracted magnetically to the peripheral face of a developing roll and contributes to development. CONSTITUTION:Signals 7a and 7b are outputted from a control circuit 7 simultaneously with development start, and motors 8a and 8b are driven. A photosensitive drum 1, a hollow sleeve 2a, and a permanent magnet 2b' are rotated in prescribed speeds respectively. A developer 6 is discharged and supplied from an aperture part 5 and reaches a stopper 4, and the length of crests of a magnetic brush of the developer 6 which is formed on the peripheral face of the sleeve 2a is balanced. When the signal 7b is supplied from the control circuit 7 to the motor 8b, the signal 7b is supplied to a density changeover switch 10, which is operated in the development stage by an operator or the like, also, and a signal corresponding to set conditions of the density changeovaer switch 10 is supplied from the switch 10 to a rotation number control circuit 11. Thus, the rotation number control circuit 10 is operated to determine a rotation number of the motor 8b corresponding to a desired print density, and the supply quantity of the developer is adjusted to set the print density easily.
