    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To consider durability and maintain heat-retaining performance, by providing a control part for allowing a remaining water temperature sensor to set fire when temperature goes below a heat-retaining combustion starting temperature, for stopping heat-retaining combustion when temperature goes above it, and for decreasing the heat-retaining combustion starting temperature according to the number of ignition. SOLUTION: When a heat-retaining switch of remote controller of hot-water supply equipment is turned on, a heat-retaining function is operated after the supply of hot water is stopped, and hot water in a heat exchanger 3 is heated and the heat is retained by igniting a burner 1 intermittently, thus preventing temperature of the hot water from decreasing. Only a hot-water supply capacity switching solenoid valve 7 is opened to prevent hot water from boiling for burning with the minimum unit hot-water supply capacity. One combustion time is also set to a relatively short time. With an ignition interval, for example the temperature of remaining water in the hot-water supply equipment is detected by a temperature sensor and is variable depending on the difference to a setting temperature. An instant hot-water function may achieve operation at an arbitrary time zone set by a user or may automatically stop the instant hot-water function, even if an instant hot-water switch is not turned off when no hot-water equipment is used continuously for a fixed amount of time.

SOLUTION: In order to make operation judgment treatment of an air blow amount controller 9 in a hot water supply apparatus 1, at the time of tuning on a judgment starting switch a command for switching a fan motor 8 to a rotational speed of 'Great' is transmitted from an air blow amount judgment means 11 to a hot water supply controller 6 and combustion operation at a combustion quantity corresponding to the rotational speed of the fan motor 8 of 'Great' is started. At this time, detection signal of a CO sensor 10 is monitored by the air blow amount judgment means 11, and when detected exhaust CO value is within a reference CO value (x), combustion operation is carried out at a combustion quantity corresponding to a rotational speed of the fan motor 8 of 'Small'. If the exhaust CO value is out of the reference CO value range, air blow amount control operation abnormality is judged.

Air stream, supplied from the lower part along the outside of the surrounding wall 20, is supplied to secondary combustion flame and part of the same is supplied from an upper wall before the upper end opening 21 of the surrounding wall 20 into the surrounding wall 20 to mix it with unburnt gas before the secondary combustion.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the generation of NOx, stabilize the combustion and lower combustion noises by providing an inner combustion tube provided with a concentrated gas burner port in the central section of a combustion tube and providing a through-hole on the side faces of the lower section of the inner combustion tube, forming a venturi section in a mixing chamber located above the through-hole, and providing a partition plate in the upper section of the mixing chamber. CONSTITUTION:At the time of combustion a gas of a low excessive air rate that is in an inner combustion tube 5 is blown out of a concentrated gas burner port 6 and burns, and, at the same time, it is blown out of an auxiliary burner port 7 and burns to form an auxiliary flame in the gap 10 in the pressure reducing wall 9. Further, the gas blown out of a through-hole 8 mixes with the air from a secondary air port 3 and they are mixed well uniformly by the venturi section 14, generating a dilution gas with a high rate of excessive air, and they are supplied to a diluted gas burner port 12. Localized high temperature sections are eliminated by the combustion of both concentrated and diluted gases at the concentrated gas burner port 6 and the dilution gas burner port 12, and the generation of NOx is reduced. On the both side sections of a partition plate 11 the upper gap 13 is enlarged and the mixture gas blown out of both sides of the partition plate 11 loses its velocity and burns, stabilizing the combustion and lowering the combustion noises.
