    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal pipe whose inner surface is polishingly finished uniformly both in an L direction and in a C direction. SOLUTION: The inner surface of a metal pipe 1 is finishingly polished by pressing polishing belts 4a, 4b on the pipe inner surface by elastic restoring force of an elastic ball 7 by molding the polishing belts 4a, 4b cylindrical by inserting the elastic ball 7 inside of the polishing belts 4a, 4b delivered from pay-off reels 2a, 2b, feeding the cylindrical polishing belts 4a, 4b in the inside of the roughly polished metal pipe 1 of inside diameter D (mm) and taking up the polishing belts 4a, 4b delivered from the other end opening of the metal pipe 1. At this time, finishing polish is divided into a plural number (n) of processes so that polishing is carried out more than three times at any point of the pipe inner surface, a rotational angle θ (degree) of the metal pipe to be rotated in each of the processes is specified by an expression of θ=360/n or θ=180/n at the time of n>=5, width W (mm) of the polishing belts used in each of the processes is specified by an expression of W=1.5 πD/n, and less than 50 of the elastic balls are supplied to the inside of the pipe in each of the processes.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remarkably improve the polishing capacity by specifying the abrasive grain rate of a resin bond grinding/wheel in which a white alundum is dispersed as the abrasive grain, the rate of binder and the porosity. SOLUTION: The polishing by the free abrasive grain is effective in the case when a member to be polished, having the ductility and high work hardening is polished, and the polishing capacity is increased by increasing the abrasive grain rate while considering the balance with the binder. The abrasive grain grasping force is stabilized corresponding to the increase of the binder, but the rate of the binder should be controlled to get the optimum and maximum polishing capacity, because the surface quality is deteriorated when the quantity of the binder is over a specific extent. Further the quantity of the chip pockets (pores) having the function of chipping, is increased. That is, the surface can be polished and finished in a good condition by a small number of times of polishing, by keeping 38-45 volume % of the grain rate, 22-35 volume % of the binder rate, and 32-45 volume % of the porosity.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately polish an internal surface of a metallic pipe with the simple equipment constitution. SOLUTION: Flat polshing belts 4a and 4b are sent out of reels 2a and 2b, and after being molded in a semicircular shape, width directional end parts are butted against each other, and are formed in a cylindrical shape. In the middle of being molded in a cylindrical shape, elastic balls 7, 7... are wrapped inside the polishing belts 4a and 4b, and next, the polishing belts 4a and 4b are sent inside a metallic pipe 1. The polishing belts 4a and 4b are slidingly moved by the elastic balls 7 while pressing them to an inside surface of the metallic pipe 1, and the polishing belts 4a and 4b sent out of the other end opening are wound round reels 3a and 3b, and the elastic balls 7, 7... are recovered. A polishing belt sent out of a single reel is molded in a cylindrical shape, and the polishing belt can be sent inside the metallic pipe being a polishing object from one end opening. After one time polishing process is finished, the metallic pipe is rotated by 90 degrees, and the polishing belt is sent inside the metallic pipe from the same direction or the inverse direction, and when polising of an internal surface is repeated, an unpolished part caused by a seam of the polishing belt can be eliminated.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal surface polishing jig capable of polishing the internal surface of a pipe at high productivity. and allowing easy insertion and pulling out in and from a pipe. SOLUTION: This magnetic polishing jig for the internal surface of a pipe is equipped with a nonmagnetic mandrel 10 of rectangular cross section, a plurality of magnetic blocks 20 of cubic shape except for the sides faced to the internal surface of a pipe as a polished material and formed as the circular arc sides 21, and buffs or abrasive nonwoven fabric 24 secured to the circular arc sides 21 of the magnetic blocks 20. Furthermore, each magnetic block 20 is formed to have a rectangular mouth part 22 wider than the rectangular cross section of the nonmagnetic mandrel 10, and a plurality of the magnetic blocks 20 are mounted on the nonmagnetic mandrel 10, so that a distance from the inner periphery of the rectangular mouth part 22 to the circular arc side 21 is longer than a distance from the inner periphery of the mouth part 22 to the other side, and the circular arc sides 21 are alternately directed in an opposite direction. Thus, polishing nonwoven fabric 24 is pressed to pipe internal surface. due to a magnetic force for attracting the magnetic blocks 20, thereby polishing the internal surface of the pipe.
