摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain high capacitance and high withstanding voltage by applying a charge-discharge cycle to an electrochemical capacitor until a max. value of stress caused in charging is approximately constant, and removing a cell assembly into a separate capacitor case to form an electrochemical capacitor. SOLUTION: Unit cells 10 are electrically connected in series to form a cell assembly, this assembly is housed in a first capacitor case 70 to assemble a first electrochemical capacitor 80, charging-discharging cycle is applied to this capacitor 80 until a max. and residual stress values in each charging- discharging cycle become approximately constant. Then this cycle is stopped, and the cell assembly is removed into a second capacitor case to assembly a second electrochemical capacitor.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve thermal shock resistance and superconductive characteristics and to obtain highly magnetic shield characteristics by decreasing the thickness of a bismuth superconductive layer in a specified region of the end part of a laminate wherein the bismuth superconductive layer is formed on a noble metal base body in the end part direction. CONSTITUTION:A layer made of a Bi-superconductive body raw material is formed on a noble metal base body and it is dried and sintered to obtain an oxide wuperconductive laminated body wherein the metal base body and the Bi- superconductive layer are integrated in a body. In this case, the end part 5 of the Bi-superconductive layer 3 is inclined linearly or in a recessed shape in the end part 4 direction of an Ag base body 2 to form it so as to decrease the Bi-superconductive layer at the part positioned in a specified region form the end part of the laminated body in the end part direction and to make the thickness thinner than the thickness in the other region of the laminate. The thickness of the noble metal base body may be simultaneously decreased in the same end part region. for example, the end part 5 of the Bi-superconductive layer 3 is linearly inclined and at the same time, the thickness of the end part 4 of the Ag base body 2 is decreased with a little curved line.

The electrolyte soln. of the capacitor uses a solute cation having an ion radius of 0.33 nm or less, and concretely, the cation having such an ion radius uses trimethyl-ethyl ammonium ion (radius of 0.319 nm) or methyl-ethyl pyrrolidinium ion (radius of 0.327 nm).

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain large capacity and high breakdown voltage by equipping a cell container for accommodating an electrode construct and an electrolyte with a stress relaxation structure. SOLUTION: A cell container 60 of a unit cell 70 is provided with a bellows part 60a as structure for relaxing stress being generated by the inflation of a polarizable electrode (carbon material). In this case, the cell container 60 is preferably made of stainless steel or the like. The bellows part 60a may be provided at the center of the cell container 60 or at an end part. Also, the cell container is equipped with a leaf spring as the stress relaxation structure. Also, in an electrode construct, a collector is composed by an elastic body. Also, as the elastic body being used as the collector is preferably made of elastically deformable porous conductive rubber sheet. As a separator, an insulation porous body should be selected to electrically separate a positive electrode from a negative one and can transmit the ions of a dissolved substance.
