    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a jointing structure of a roofing material, impart adequate performance to the jointing structure in terms of watertightness, weatherability, impact resistance, corrosion resistance, flaw resistance and properties of stillness, and make an appearance favorable.
      SOLUTION: This jointing structure, which is composed of a rubber-laminated metal plate wherein a rubber layer is joined for lamination to the metal plate, has three parts, that is, an upper flat plate part 4b which is arranged above an incline and made parallel to a roof surface, a lower flat plate part 6a which is arranged on the downside of the incline, and an inclined part between the upper and lower flat plate parts 4b and 6a. In jointing in a vertical direction with respect to the incline, a tape-like adhesive material 11 is arranged in a part wherein the plate part 4b, whose surface is composed of the rubber layer of one roofing material 1b, is fixed to a roof bed 9 by an anchor member 10; and the plate part 6a, whose surface is composed of the rubber layer of the upward adjacent, roofing material 1a, is superposed for the jointing on one roofing material 1b after an arrangement of the adhesive material 11. In jointing in a lateral direction with respect to the incline, the adjacent roofing materials 1a and 1b are made to abut on each other; the adhesive material 11 is arranged in an abutting part of the roofing materials 1a and 1b; and the abutting part after the arrangement of the adhesive material 11 is covered for the jointing with a jointing member wherein the rubber layer is bonded for the lamination onto the metal plate.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sufficient initial fixing force by arranging a joining tape on a joint allowance of one of impervious sheets to be joined while thermally extruding the tape, superposing the joining allowance of the other impervious sheet thereon, and compacting them with a roller. SOLUTION: The first impervious sheet 1a and the second impervious sheet 1b which are made of an elastomer such as vulcanized rubber, are arranged on the bottom and slopes of a waste disposal site or a storage reservoir in a manner that allows their joining allowances 4 to be superposed on each other. And a joining tape 5 composed of a vulcanizable rubber composition in which a hot-melt adhesive such as ethylene vinyl acetate or polyethylene is blended with butyl rubber or ethylene propylene rubber, is arranged on the joining allowance 4 of the impervious sheet 1a while heating the tape with an extruder 6, and the joining allowance of the second impervious sheet 1b is put thereon and compacted from above with a roller. In addition, bridge formation progresses over time between the impervious sheets 1a, 1b and the joining tape 5 and turns into a solid bond, thereby developing a sufficient initial fixing force.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To judge the flaw part of a joined part without cutting off a passage for inspection even if length capable of being inspected by one work is larger and load is applied by providing two joining layers between the mutually superposed parts of water barrier sheets of the joined part of them in parallel to the longitudinal direction of the joined part to form a passage ensured in airtightness. SOLUTION: In a joined part 1, the end part of an upper water barrier sheet 2 and the end part of a lower water barrier sheet 3 are superposed one upon another and two joining layers 5, 6 equal in thickness are arranged and interposed between the superposed parts so as to provide an interval and the space surrounded by the upper and lower water barrier sheets 2, 3 and two joining layers 5, 6 is formed as a passage 4 having airtightness. By detecting the fluctuations of the pressure in the passage after the pressure in the passage is reduced, the flaw of the joined part of the water barrier sheets is inspected. As compared with an inspection method pressurizing the interior of the passage, the peeling possibility of the joined part is eliminated and pressure can be reduced with large pressure difference and the length of the joined part inspected at once can be extended and the efficiency of inspection work can be enhanced.

    • PURPOSE:To provide the titled sheet resistant to the breakage of the sheet caused by the cracking and deformation of substrate, by applying a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer to a surface of a rubber sheet dipping a non-woven cloth completely in the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer in an impregnated state and contacting a thermoplastic resin film closely to the surface of the non-woven cloth. CONSTITUTION:A pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 3 is applied to a surface of the rubber sheet 2, and a non-woven cloth 4 is dipped completely in the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer in a state containing the pressure-sensitive adhesive agent impregnated into the opening area between the fibers. A thermoplastic resin film 5 is applied closely to at least one surface of the non-woven cloth 4. The non-woven cloth is the one having an areal density of 10-70g/m , especially 15-50g/m and a tensile strength of 0.5-15kg/5cm, especially 1-10kg/5cm, and a film of 0.01-0.1mm thick is applied to one surface of the non-woven cloth. The reinforcing material 6 produced above follows the cracking and deformation of the substrate and prevents the breakage of the sheet. The migration of the oiling agent in the lower pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 3b to the rubber sheet can be inhibited by the presence of the film to improve the dimensional stability.
