    • PURPOSE:To obtain a heat-sensitive recording material which produces less scums, by setting the thermal deformation ratio of a mixture of a dispersant and a binder not higher than a predetermined value when a specified load is added thereto. CONSTITUTION:In a heat-sensitive recording material having a heat-sensitive color generating layer provided on a support body, the heat-sensitive color generating layer contains generally colorless or dim dye precursor in fine particles, a color developing agent which reacts to allow the dye to generate color when heat is added, a sensitizer and a binder. The thermal deformation ratio (c) of a mixture of a dispersant and the binder of the recording material measured by a thermal mechanical analysis using TMA module No. 943 of the thermal analysing system model 990 by Du Pont is obtained c=(a-b)X100/a(%) wherein (a) represents the thickness of a sample at a room temperature and (b) represents the thickness of the sample at 70 deg.C. When the mixture having the thermal deformation ratio not higher than 4% is employed, the adhering amount of scums can be reduced without lowering the sensitivity. The scums are generated more as the thermal deformation ratio becomes larger, and if the ratio exceeds 6%, the generation of scums becomes enormous.

    • PURPOSE:To enable an image which is excellent in image quality such as density, color, definition, etc. to be obtained, by a method wherein the image receiving sheet is prepared by providing an ink accepting layer, and an ink accepting amount of the image receiving sheet is made a specific value. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitizing and/or thermal and pressure sensitive recording transfer sheet basically indicate a sheet manufactured as follows. It is composed of a microcapsule coated on a base material, and an inner phase of the microcapsule contains at least not less than one kind of coloring agents. The inner phase containing the coloring agent, i.e., ink is released by rupture or the like of the microcapsule. Further, for a method in which the inner phase containing the coloring agent of the microcapsule is released, i.e., a developing method in which ink is transferred to an image receiving sheet to form an image, there are methods such as the microcapsule being ruptured by pressure, a film being fused by heat, etc. However, they can be suitably selected. Then, the image receiving sheet shall be prepared by providing the ink accepting layer, and the ink accepting amount of the image receiving sheet shall be not less than 5g/m . Further, the image receiving sheet should more preferably have this value of the ink accepting amount by only the ink accepting layer.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a thermal transfer recording sheet having white texture and exhibiting an excellent image storing performance with respect to the light and plasticizer, by combining a recording sheet where the components of a thermal transfer layer are composed of an aromatic isocyanate compound or a specific imino compound and a material having a low melting point with an image receiving sheet composed of an imino compound or an aromatic isocyanate compound reactable with coloring components in the thermal transfer layer. CONSTITUTION:Main components of a thermal transfer layer in a recording sheet are an aromatic isocyanate compound or an imino compound shown by the general formula in the formula, phi is a residual group of an aromatic compound which can form a conjugated system with an adjoining C=N) which reacts with said isocyanate compound and develops color and a material having a low melting point. An image receiving paper has a surface layer composed of an imino compound or an aromatic isocyanate compound reactable with the color developing components in said thermal transfer layer. Said recording sheet and image receiving sheet are employed in combination. Color developing components are applied separately onto the recording sheet and the image receiving sheet. The color developing components do not contact with each other after thermal transfer. Consequently, a stable image can be transferred onto the image receiving sheet and the image does not disappear even if it is treated roughly.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a thermal recording material excellent in thermal response and having high sensitivity, by containing a compound represented by a specific formula in the thermal recording material, which contains a usually colorless or light colored dye precursor and a developer allowing said dye precursor to form a color through the reaction therewith at the time of heating, as a sensitizer. CONSTITUTION:A sensitizer represented by formula (I) (wherein X is hydrogen or OR' and R and R' are a substituted or non-substituted cycloalkylcarbonyl group) is usually added in an amount of 5% by wt. of a normal developer. The addition amount of said sensitizer is pref. 10-400wt% and especially pref. 20-300wt%. If the addition amount thereof is below 5wt%, sensitivity enhancing effect is insufficient and, if more than 400wt%, there is often an economically disadvantageous case. As a dye precursor, a triphenylmethane compound, a fluorane compound, a diphenylmethane compound, a thiazine compound, a spiropyrane compound, etc. are designated. As the developer, an acidic substance generally used in thermal paper, that is, an electron acceptive compound is used and, especially, a phenol derivative and an aromatic carboxylic acid derivative are used.
