    • PURPOSE:To provide a magnetic head having a surface to slide with a magnetic medium on which surface foreign matter is hardly stickable by reinforcing magnetic material cores by molded glass prior to cutting and dividing the cores from a blank material block. CONSTITUTION:The blank material block made by joining and uniting two-split alloy magnetic block halves 11, 12 to each other by silver brazing and forming a working gap 4 between the halves is slotted by a wheel so that plural grooves 13a-13d are formed to said block at prescribed intervals. The spacing Tw from the groove to the groove is set equal to the prescribed track width. The glass 5 is melted and filled into the grooves 13a-13d. A bar material (mandrel) having the m.p. higher than the melting temp. of the glass 5 is preliminarily inserted into each winding window 6 in this stage. The block is thereafter cut along the position (the position shown by an alternate long and short line A) slightly above the bottom of the grooves 13a-13d and is further cut along the central position (the position shown by the alternate long and short line B) bisecting respectively the thickness of the glass 5 in the grooves 13a-13d. The plural members cut and divided in the above-mentioned manner are respectively finished by polishing and the head cores are obtd.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent an adhesive from flowing out to upper and lower faces of a head assembly, and to eliminate the deviation of gap azimuth by making a sinding window of a reinforcing block larger than that of a ''Sendust'' chip and making the width of the reinforcing block smaller than that of the chip. CONSTITUTION:A winding window 22 of a ''Sendust'' chip 4 and a winding window 10 of a reinforcing block 9 are so formed that a width w1 of the former is slightly larger than a width w2 of the latter and a width W2 of the reinforcing block 9 is slightly smaller than width W1 of the chip 4. A length L2 of the reinforcing block 9 is made slightly longer than a length L1 of the chip 4. When the chip 4 and the reinforcing block 9 are piled up into one body and are adhered to each other, an organic adhesive 12 is accumulated on a collar-shaped part formed with the chip 4 and is not flowed to upper and lower faces of a head assembly 11, An adhesive 13 is flowed into a gap 14 between two reinforcing blocks 9 by the capillary phenomenon to perform strong adhesion and is not flowed to upper and lower faces of reinforcing blocks 9.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent short wavelength recording and reproducing characteristic by constituting a titled magnetic head so that both tapered parts have a peak in the center part in the thickness direction of a magnetic core, and an inclined plane is formed on both sides of this peak. CONSTITUTION:Stream lines a-a'...f-f' of an air flow on an opposed surface of a magnetic tape of a magnetic core 1 coincide with a running direction 8 of the magnetic tape 7 in a leading-in end to a magnetic head tip 6, but as they approach a tape sliding surface 5 and pressure of a wedgelike space 10 increases, they are led out upward and downward by placing a peak 13 between, along inclined planes 12, 12' having an inclined angle beta. As a result, the number of stream lines led in onto the tape sliding surface 5 decreases, an air pressure on the tape sliding surface 5 is reduced, and a spacing between the magnetic tape 7 and the magnetic core 1 is reduced. The air pressure on the tape sliding surface is reduced by quickening a horizontal leakage against the air flow on the opposed surface of the magnetic tape of the magnetic core, the spacing is made small, and a magnetic head which is excellent in a short wavelength recording and reproducing performance and has a high reliability is obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent effectively generation of corona discharge and a crack in the semiconductor stack by a method wherein shielding electrodes and contractive tubes are provided on the insulating double-end studs of the semiconductor stack. CONSTITUTION:Both the edges of the shielding electrode 9 consisting of semiconductive resin applied on the surface of an insulator 5 are made to have the curved surface shape for increase of the shielding effect. When assembling is to be performed, by connecting the shielding electrodes 9 and cooling fins 2 with a conductive material, both are made to have electric potential of the same, electric field at the edge part of the cooling fin 2 is mitigated according to the shielding electrode 9 thereof, and prevention of generation of corona discharge between the insulating double-end stud 3 and the cooling fin 2 can be attained. Because the semiconductor and contractive tube 10 equipped by heating thereafter on the metal double-and stud 4 has superior adhesion with the insulator, and has inferior adhesion with the metal, the tube has the effect to act as the cushion material mitigating residual stress to be generated after injection molding of the insulator is performed, and even when total length of the insulating double-end stud 3 is elongated, a crack is hard to generate, and quality thereof is also stabilized.
