    • PURPOSE:To monitor abnormality at all times, by filling metallic material reactive with decomposition product of insulating gas to be produced upon abnormal insulation of machinery in a circulation path branched from the body of a gas insulated machinery, and detecting variation of gas flow. CONSTITUTION:Insulation gas SF6 is filled in the container of an electric machinery such as a transformer tank 1, and circulated through a blower 3 as shown by an arrow. The gas SF6 is cooled through a heat-exchanger 2 then a portion thereof is fed through a branch flow paths 4, 4 and a filter 5 to branch pipes 4a, 4b. Material 6, such as copper, zinc and the like or galvanized with these metals, reactive with such material as produced due to deterioration of insulation is filled in the branch pipe 4a. Materiel, e.g., stainless steel, which does not react to decomposition product is filled in the branch pipe 4b. Flow meters 8, 9 are arranged at the outlets of the branch pipes 4a, 4b and the flow is monitored through a differential flow detector 10. The differential flow is normally zero, but it is detected upon occurrence of abnormal insulation. By such arrangement, abnormal insulation can be monitored continuously.

    • PURPOSE:To enable monitoring even a gas which contains no oxygen by detecting a gas which contains the oxygen with a gas detector after the gas in a transformer is mixed with the air and added with the oxygen. CONSTITUTION:The gas in a gas detection chamber 6 is discharged via an exhaust pipe 13 by opening the valve 11 of the exhaust pipe 13 and by driving a pump 12. Then, after the valve 11 is closed, the gas in a gas space 3 is introduced in the gas detection chamber 6 by opening the valve 4 of a pipe 5. Then, after the valve 4 is closed, the air is introduced in the gas detection chamber 6 to the atmospheric pressure by opening the valve 9 of an air supply pipe 10. Then, after the valve 9 is closed, valves 16, 17 are opened, the gas in the gas detection chamber 6 is forcibly circulated in a circulation pipe 14 by driving a pump 15 so the gas can be detected by a gas detector 7. In this case, the mean concentration of the gas in the gas detection chamber 6 can rapidly be detected since the gas detector 7 detects the circulating gas.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent adverse influences caused by a dissolved gas by providing a space generating means and a vibrator on a gas extracting chamber, and communicating a gas detecting chamber having a gas detecting element with this gas extracting chamber. CONSTITUTION:A bellows 10 is moved upward by operating a bellows driving part 11, and a gas extracting chamber 3, an oil feed-in pipe 5, and an oil feed-out pipe is filled with an insulating oil 2. Subsequently, opening and closing valves 6, 7 are opened, and the insulating oil 2 in the gas extracting chamber 3 is circulated between the gas extracting chamber 3 and a tank 1 by a pump 8. Thereafter, the pump 8 is stopped, the bellows driving part 11 is driven in a state that the opening and closing valves 6, 7 are closed, a space A under a reduced pressure is generated in the upper part of the inside of the gas extracting chamber 3, and a dissolved gas in oil is extracted to the space A by a vibrator 12. Subsequently, the vibration of the vibrator 12 is stopped, a clean air is made to flow into the space A by opening valves 15, 16 and 18, the valve 18 is closed and the valve 17 is opened, the insulating oil 2 in the tank 1 is made to flow into the gas extracting chamber 3 by opening the valve 6, a mixed gas of the dissolved gas in oil and air is fed to a detecting chamber 9, and the components are measured by a gas detecting element 20.

    • PURPOSE:To realize the measurement for various types of characteristics during and after heating by providing the oxygen gas supply opening, the heater and the oil draw-out opening each to the sealed container which is capable of storing the sample of a desired amount. CONSTITUTION:The inner wall of metal container 1 possessing opening 1a containing the flange at one end receives the surface treatment via the resin or the glass to form sealed container 20. Insulating oil 4 is stored into container 20 in a desired amount. Heater 5 is provided at the bottom part of container 1 to heat up oil 4. In addition, the following openings are provided: air absorption opening 6 to link the space between the surface of oil 4 and cover 2 to the outside of container 20; gas supply opening 8 to supply the oxygen gas into oil 4; oil supply opening 10 to supply oil 4; and oil draw-out opening to draw out oil 4 each. Thus, the measurement is possible during and after heating for various types of characteristics including the full oxidation, the interfacial tension, the chromaticity, the insulation breakdown intensity and others of the insulating oil.
