    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat capable of avoiding problems that engaging parts are projected to the lower surface side of a seat cushion part in a detachable seat for a vehicle. SOLUTION: This invention is concerned with a seat 10 equipped with a mounting/demounting mechanism part 30 at the bottom part of a seat cushion part 20, where the mounting/demounting mechanism 30 is provided with guide members 35 and 50 as an engaging part, and with hooks 46 and 57. The guide member 35 and the hook 46 at the front side is so constituted that they can be engaged with/disengaged from a front side receiving part 12 provided for the floor part of a vehicle, and the guide member 50 and the hook 57 are so constituted that they can be engaged with/disengaged from a rear side receiving part 13. It is so constituted that the guide members 35 and 50 and the hooks 46 and 57 are projected toward the receiving parts 12 and 13 in a state that they are engaged with the receiving parts 12 and 13, and they jump up in the inside of the mounting/demounting mechanism 30 in a state that the seat 10 is removed from a car body, namely, in a state that an engagement with the receiving parts 12 and 13 is disengaged.

Further, a striker which locks the engagement part of the latch fixed at the lock position and has an engagement hook 17f which forms a plate shape and is fixed on a floor 5 below the latch and can be engaged with the engagement part of the larch and a lock releasing means 18 which is interposed between the seat side and the top end of the curved part of the latch and releases the lock of the striker by turning the latch to other side from the lock position against the springy force of the return spring are provided.

Further, a lock releasing mechanism 26 is axially supported on a seat frame, and an engagement part 35a engaged with a pin fixed at the rear end of a cushion 16 is installed at the upper part, and a guide pin 36 which intrudes under the engagement part 31b at the forwardly directed position of the seat is installed at the lower end. If the cushion 16 is spring up in this state, a guide plate 35 turns, and the guide pin 36 pushes up the lock plate 31 through the engagement part 31b, and the lock of a slide rail 1 can be released.
