      SOLUTION: This heat storage type electric heater has a warm air generator 1 and a heat storage device 2 incorporated therein and is equipped with a means 15 for giving an instruction on a heating area and a control means 16 for making the heat storage device store heat in the quantity corresponding to the heating area. Since the quantity of heat to be needed corresponding to the heating area on which the instruction is given through the intermediary of the instructing means 15 is stored by the heat storage device 2 according to this constitution, no unnecessary excess of heat storage occurs and thus it is possible to eliminate wasteful use of energy, while reducing power consumption.

The valve 26 selects whether the inside space of the vaporizer 15 is allowed to communicate with the pipe 23 or not. The sensor 160 detects temperature of the pipe 23.
