    • PURPOSE:To provide the titled device which has a low installation height and a short press shaft and stabilizes a pressing operation by dividing a vertical type electric heating furnace to a furance body having a heating chamber in common use as a cooling chamber and freely openable and closable upper and lower caps for charging a material to be treated and penetrating a pair of press rams through the upper and lower rams so as to face each other. CONSTITUTION:A press frame 2 is first retreated from the left No.1 furnace and the lower cap 5 of the right No.2 furnace is lowered and is opened. A mold 10 united with upper and lower punches 13, 14 is carried to the position right above a lower ram 16. The cap 5 is raised and the lower ram 16 is transferred from a loader 35 to the mold 10, then the cap 5 is closed. The inside of the No.1 furnace is evacuated 36 and after the prescribed degree of vacuum is attained, electricity is conducted to a heater 12 to heat the furnace. The frame 2 is moved to the No.1 furnace when the prescribed temp. is attained. A cylinder rod 26 is axially centered at the bottom end of the ram 16 and thereafter the rod 26 is advanced to hot press ceramic raw material 15 in the mold 10. A cooling gas is thereafter introduced 37 into the furnace to cool the mold 10.

    • PURPOSE:To provide the titled apparatus capable of cooling rapidly the inside of a furnace with high cooling efficiency by circulating forcibly a cooling gas with a fan provided in the furnace, and arranging an inner cooler and an outer cooler in front and in the rear of the fan to cool the cooling gas. CONSTITUTION:A heating chamber R is formed by a heat-insulating wall 13 and doors 15 and 16 in the main body 11 of a gas-cooled vacuum furnace having a furnacd lid 12. An article A is placed in the furnace, and heated with a heater 14. Then said doors 15 and 16 are opened, a fan 18 of the gas-cooling apparatus is operated by a motor 17, and the cooling gas is circulated in the furnace to cool rapidly the inside of the furnace. The cooling gas, blown by said fan 18 and heated by the Joule heat of the fan, is cooled by an outer cooler 20, then passed through the outside of a baffle 2 and the heat-insulating wall 13, passed through the inside of the heating chamber R in the direction as shown by the arrow, cooled by an inner cooler 19, and sucked by the fan 18. Consequently, the whole region of a cooling cycle in the furnace can be cooled rapidly with high cooling efficiency.

    • PURPOSE: To increase the CO component in a circulation gas and to recover a surplus gas with high calorie, by burning partially powder coke separated from the circulation gas, joining a formed CO gas to a circulation gas flow.
      CONSTITUTION: Powder coke in a circulation gas discharged from a cooling column of a dry quencher for coke is separated from the circulation gas by the dust collector 2 and gathered. The separated powder coke 6 is partially burned by the partial combustion furnace 5 for powder coke. A combustion gas (namely CO) produced by the partial combustion is joined to a circulation gas flow to the boiler 3.
      EFFECT: Loss in carbon in the cooling column is reduced. Reaction heat is small and a boiler tube is not damaged. Easy temperature control.

    • PURPOSE: To improve the volume efficiency, by moving a moving guide while moving a coke bucket in one direction to make a pile of the coke formed in the coke bucket flat in the running direction of the coke bucket.
      CONSTITUTION: A coke cake 2 after the completion of the carbonization is pushed by a pusher ram 3 from a coke oven 1 to a coke bucket 6. In the process, a moving guide 5 is reciprocated in the directions (X-X'), and the coke bucket 6 is moved in the direction (Y) at a suitable speed. The movements of the coke bucket 6 and the moving guide 5 are combined to receive a coke in the coke bucket 6 in an optional orbit. The moving guide 5 is moved while moving the coke bucket 6 in the direction (Y) to move the tip of the moving guide 5 in a wide range of the coke bucket 6. Thus, the pile formed in the coke bucket 6 is flat also in the running direction of the bucket 6, and the volume efficiency is improved.
