    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the steerability and steering performance of a traveling device so that steering is easy to an unskilled operator, and safety is high. SOLUTION: This traveling device is provided with a control means capable of arbitrarily changing the initial number of revolution of a swash plate of a pump 71 of a turning HTS 70 when the turning of a power steering lever 55 is started. The control means controls the optimum initial number of revolution of the turning HST 70 by the detected output such as vehicle speed, weight, and settlement of the traveling device body. For example, when vehicle speed is low, the weight is small, and the settlement is small, the initial number of revolution is set to 'fast' to control the differential speed between crawlers to be small when turning is started, and to reduce the impact by starting turning. When vehicle speed is high, the weight is large, and the settlement is large, the initial number of revolution is set to 'slow' to increase differential speed between the crawlers when turning is started, and to facilitate steering operation even in a case difficult to turn, i.e., when the vehicle speed is large, the weight is large, and the settlement is large.

SOLUTION: This grain culm sensor is for a combine harvester which is equipped with an auxiliary raising unit 4 in front of a main raising unit 2, the former projecting a scraping tine 3 forward to scrape culm bodies for division while the latter projecting a raising tine 1 laterally with respect to the direction of reaping movement to raise the culm bodies, wherein sensor arms 6 and sensor boxes 8 and 9 are further provided, the sensor arms 6 being located at the lower end of the auxiliary raising unit 4 and rear of a division body 5 to project laterally in both directions and rotate back and forth while in contact with the stock roots, and the sensor boxes 8 and 9 are located at the rear of the sensor arms 6 to hold sensor switches working in phase of the sensor arms 6.

The aslant cut part of the left front corner part is usually hardly utilized, but the part is designed to be utilized by arranging maters at the part.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device to perform rapid and smooth operation by a method wherein engagement and separation between a clutch member to transmit a brake force or a low speed rotation force or a rotation force in a reverse direction and the engaging claw of a vertical movement member to freely engage with and disengage from the engaging claw are facilitated. SOLUTION: Side clutch gears 2 and 2' to selectively transmit a rotation power to each of a pair of right and left endless belts are arranged on both sides of a center gear 3 in such a manner to be capable of being freely engaged and disengaged, and a brake shaft 4 is provided to selectively transmit a brake force or a low speed rotation power or a rotation power in a reverse direction through the side clutch gears 2 and 2'. On the brake shaft 4, the engaging claws 6 of clutch members 5 and 5' pivotally mounted on the shaft 4 and the engaging claws 8 of vertical movement members 7 and 7' trasmissively coupled to the side clutch gears 2 and 2' slidably loosely fitted in the shaft 4 are capable of being engaged with and disengaged from each other. The engaging surface 8a of the engaging claw 8 and the engaging surface of the engaging claw 6 form a slope on which engagement and disengagement are easily practicable.
