摘要： PURPOSE:To enhance productivity of a single crystal member by adding the other cooling means in addition to a conventional cooling plate for growing single crystal and also specifying a peripheral wall structure to be cooled for a starter. CONSTITUTION:A producing device for single crystal member is equipped with a cylindrical heating furnace 2 having both a casting guide port 3 and the gate 4 of a mold, a cooling plate 6 which is provided to the gate 4 side of the furnace 2 and freely reciprocated in the axial direction of the furnace 2 and a mold 7 which is provided to this cooling plate 6 and drawn out to the outside of the furnace according to transfer of the cooling plate 6 after molten metal M is poured in the furnace 2. This mold 7 is constituted of a mold main body 10 having a cavity 8 for molding a member, a starter 11 which is brought into contact with the cooling plate 6 to coagulate molten metal M in one direction and a selector 13 which communicates the mold main body 10 with the starter 11 and selects one piece of crystal among from a plurality of columnar crystals C formed by the starter 11. In this producing device for single crystal member, a cooling annular body 15 for cooling the mold 7 from the outside peripheral side thereof is provided rear to the gate 4 of the furnace 2. Moreover, the peripheral wall 18 to be cooled of the starter 11 opposed to the inside peripheral face of the cooling annular body 15 is formed into nearly equal diameter in the whole length in the direction of a centerline of the cooling annular body 15.
