    • PURPOSE: To simplify the operation procedure of a computer by deciding a calculation processing means to be started up by a control means corresponding to a computer using history stored in a storage means. CONSTITUTION: An application to be started up next is estimated by an interface program 3. When the interface program 3 selects the application to be started up next corresponding to the operation history of a user stored in the operation history 3a, the user first performs work by a normal method such as the specification of a command or the like and the interface program 3 stores the work history in the operation history 3a at the time. When such an operation history 3a is present, the identification of the next operation when it is defined that the succeeding operation follows the operation history as well is made possible. For instance, when the contents of data are updated by a data base program, the updating of a table by a tabulation program is identified as the next operation. Further, the updating of the contents of sentences by a word processor is identified as the next operation.

    • PURPOSE:To efficiently and flexibly realize coupling between neurons only in a required part by growing a growable data transfer means based on local information like the gradient of a diffused coupling request signal to form coupling to itself or another neuron. CONSTITUTION:A coupling source neuron 110 grows a growable transfer line 121 in the direction of the density gradient of the coupling request signal to form coupling with a coupling destination neuron 101. After formation of this coupling, data is transferred from the coupling source neuron 110 to the coupling destination neuron 101, and this data is weighted by a synapse circuit 103 and is transferred to the coupling destination neuron 101. In parallel with this transfer, weight value held in the synapse circuit 103 is changed to desired value by learning. If it is judged that coupling unnecessary, for example, if the weight value is 0 or smaller. the coupling destination neuron 101 generates a coupling disconnection signal to retard the growable data transfer line.

    • PURPOSE:To support the production of a knowledge base for this expert system by performing the comparison between the behaviors of the specifications and the detailed behaviors carried out at the executing method levels and outputting the relationship between both types of behaviors. CONSTITUTION:The behaviors 4 of specifications are estimated based on the information 1 on the specifications and the interpreting information 11 on the information 1. Simultaneously, the detailed behaviors 5 are estimated based on the information 2 on realization, the interpreting information 21 on the information 2, the information 31 on the hypothesis, and the conversion informa tion 32 on the information 2. Then the comparison is carried out based on the comparison information 61 between both behaviors 4 and 5. The relationship including the information 31 is outputted via the expert system. In other words, the information outputted as a specification realizing relationship 7 describes in detail the relationship between the machine specifications 1 and the informa tion 2. In such constitution, the construction of a knowledge base of a large scale can be supported.

    • PURPOSE:To collect knowledge on a design method from the operation of a device by analyzing the inputted operation example of the device by means of information on a basic data base, a conversion rule data base and an interpretation rule data base and storing an analyzed result in an operation rule data base. CONSTITUTION:The basic data base 21, the operation rule data base 22, the interpretation rule data base 23, and the conversion rule data base 24 are installed. Consequently, the example inputted from an input/output device for the generation of information stored in the operation rule data base 22 can be prepared by observing the operation of the device, and it can be prepared without the corporation of a skilled designer. On the other hand, information stored in the oration rule data base 22 is knowledge on the design method collected by analyzing the design process of the conventional device, and it can be used as knowledge on the design method of a high pass filter, for example. Thus, knowledge on the design method can be collected from the operation of the device.

    • PURPOSE:To detect the abnormality of a plant with high accuracy by using an estimated plant state element as an input and estimating the generating factor of said state element to estimate the plant state element to be set after a prescribed time. CONSTITUTION:A memory 18C of an electronic computer 10 which controls a boiling water type reactor plant stores various data bases 22-26 and a processing program 27. If a shaft fixing phenomenon occurs with a recycling pump 4, for example, during operation of the reactor plant, a fact that a reactor water level 17 reached the value showing the time point right before the scrum is displayed on a control board 20. Then the plant data are supplied to a CPU 18B via an input/output device 18A and the CPU 18B calls out the program 27. An estimating part 34 of the program 27 receives a plant state signal from a state grasping part 31 and carries out a calculating method within the transition estimation data base 23 to obtain the time during which the value of each element state of the plant state signal is changed to the next level value. Then a deciding part 37 transmits a state signal including the state closest to each element state forming the input plant state signal.

    • PURPOSE:To perform a processing at high speed by carrying out a data value deletion processing and a data value deletion preventing processing to specific other data by a data renewing means based on auxiliary data deciding whether the specific other data relating to the data is deleted or not. CONSTITUTION:Every design data 6, it is added to a value of the result of the design, the name or the like of the data formed by using the value is stored in a storing means 4 as the auxiliary data, and the auxiliary data 7, 8 is used when the value of the data is changed or deleted. Namely, when the data formed by using the value is deleted by using the deleting auxiliary data 7 and since unnecessary data may be deleted according to the case only by that, the data used when the value is formed every data is stored as the deletion preventing auxiliary data 8 and the deletion is prevented by using this. Thereby, by deletion processing can be executed at high speed in proportion to all the number of the data without increasing the processing time even when the number of the data is increased.

    • PURPOSE: To realize a space layout which speeds up the retrieval of space data and is small in storage capacity by retrieving data on each body with data for retrieval consisting of small coordinate arrays which are arranged hierachically.
CONSTITUTION: The data for retrieval are constituted by combining a two-dimensional array containing address values in a computer memory as element with a data structure called normally as a list, and the main body of the list consists of body names and addresses of a next list body. When a body under a body a is retrieved, the retrieval data are used to register the names of bodies which are possibly under the body A as intermediate results. The coordinates (entered in space data) of the body A and information showing which coordinate area some array element corresponds (which can be calculated from the size of the array and the size of the original area) are used to decide whether some array element is under the body A or not. Then, it is recognized whether each body registered as intermediate result is present under the body a to attain the retrieval.

    • PURPOSE:To enable giving eye feeling of width by calculating automatically a reference line in the eye direction and that on a projected plane from the picture outer circumference position to specified one with respect to a picture of a three-dimensional shape displayed on a perspective and by displaying them. CONSTITUTION:A three-dimensional coordinate reader 9 outputs displaced data whose displacement in three three-dimensional independent directions is converted into a numeric to a data input device 8 to connect the data to an arithmetic processing device 4. While viewing a CRT screen, said reader 9 uses a three-dimensional coordinate input device with near-lever mechanism 3 which allows the displacement in the vertical direction and that in four directions to be that a picture in the eye direction and that in horizontal/vertical directions, respectively. A specification point of width is given to a perspective displayed on the CRT screen, and a locus up to the specification point on a projected plan is obtained and displayed on said plane. The locus consists of three straight lines, which are called a two-dimensional reference line. The reference line consists of the width displacement in the eye direction from a start point to the specified one, the vertical displacement and the horizontal one.
