    • PURPOSE:To process signals as a digital filter and in Fourier transform at high speed and with high sensitivity, by passing all of output current of a first to fourth superconducting electron wave elements through an inductance, and detecting the current by means of a Josephson magnetic flux quantum interference type element, composed of an inductance and Josephson elements, connected with the superconducting electron wave elements. CONSTITUTION:Bias current is removed from the output current of detectors, and the Andreyev reflected wave that contributes to interference is extracted. Positive D.C. bias current plus input signal current is applied to two 201, 203 of six-input superconducting electron wave elements 201-204, and negative D.C. bias current plus input signal current is applied to the other two 202, 204. The detector electrodes of the superconducting electron wave elements 201 and 202, and 203 and 204 are connected with each other, respectively, and an inductance 210 is placed between the respective connections. The current passing through the inductance 210 is detected using a Josephson magnetic flux quantum interference type element composed of an inductance 211 and Josephson junctions 212, 213.

    • PURPOSE:To enable integration, superhigh speed and low consumption electric power by forming a superconductive coupling region equivalent to a superconductive quantum fine line in a normal conductor which constitutes superconductive weak coupling effectively. CONSTITUTION:Superconductive wave function effuses in a normal conductor region of flat type superconductive coupling by superconductive proximity effect. When the widths of superconductive electrodes 301, 302 are made narrow, effusion of superconductive wave function attenuates to a width direction of the electrodes 301, 302. Therefore, a superconductive coupling region which is narrower than the actual electrodes 301, 302 is formed in a normal conductor. The interval between and widths of the electrodes 301, 302, the thickness of the superconductor 300 and a normal conductor layer 200, etc., are designed so that the size of the superconductive coupling region (a rough diameter of a sectional area of a superconductor region in a normal conductor) is about the same or less than a coherence length of superconduction. Thereby, integration, superhigh speed and low consumption electric power can be realized.

The counter electrodes of the first super-conduction joint part is provided with a step-like shape so that the quasiparticles subjected to the andreeffu reflection will interfere. With the current made to flow in the first superconducting joint part as an input and the state of the second one as an output, a superconducting element provided with a threshold logic function that allow adjustment of input signal weight by a single element with the control electrode is realized.

CONSTITUTION:This is a superconducting device being opposedly provided with an input electrode 3 consisting of a superconductor or a normal conductor supplying an electron wave into a semiconductor 2 and a superconducting electrode 1 on the semiconductor 2 while collecting electron waves performing Andreev reflection in the interface between the superconducting electrode 1 and the semiconductor 2 in an output electrode provided on the input electrode 3 or near thereto for being detected as a current while having the constitution where a plurality of input electrodes 4 locally controlling a phase of an electron wave in the semiconductor 2 are formed on the semiconductor 2 between the input electrode 3 or the output electrode and the superconducting electrode 1 through an insulating film 5. Accordingly, a degital/analog transducer, a detector and a theshold value logical circuit can be constituted by one element.
