摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup which is used in common for DVD/CD and manufactured at greatly reduced cost while maintaining special properties of small size and simple configuration realized by mounting a semiconductor laser module. SOLUTION: In an optical pickup which requires a plurality of laser beam sources like the optical pickup used in common for DVD/CD, the number of components and cost are decreased since optical detection systems can be put together in one system by using a semiconductor laser module for one of the laser beam sources and normal semiconductor laser beam sources for others, making light beams which are emitted by the normal semiconductor laser beam sources and reflected by an optical disk incident on the semiconductor laser module, and using an optical detector provided in the module as an optical detector for the laser beams emitted by the normal semiconductor laser beam sources.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an optical system which is lower in cost and simpler than the conventional optical system constitution by the optical system constitution using inexpensive optical elements and fewest possible semiconductor lasers with an optical pickup for subjecting plural kinds of different optical disks to recording or reproducing of information. SOLUTION: The optical system constitution of the optical pickup consisting of the semiconductor laser having two laser beam sources of different wavelengths within one casing, one diffraction grating and one photodetector is adopted to a means to dissolve this theme. The optical pickup is provided with light receiving regions quadrisected to plurality of shapes, each of which is a square with a cross inside, in the positions irradiated with the light beam reflected from the optical disk and simultaneously, the focus error signals by an astigmatism system are formed respectively independently from these light receiving regions and the tracking error signals by a differential phase detection system are formed from one or both of the light receiving regions.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the enhancing of the followup ability of an optical pickup to an optical disk and the miniaturizing of an optical pickup device with a simple constitution by passing the whole or one part of a light beam through the air space surrounded with a tracking coil and a focusing coil which are fixed to a holder and are adjacent each other. SOLUTION: The whole or one part of a light beam 8 passes through the air space surrounded with a tracking coil 4 and a focusing coil 5 which are fixed to a holder 3 and are adjacent each other to be made incident on a mirror 10 and is changed to the optical axis direction of an objective lens 7 by the mirror 10. At the time of a focus control, an electromagnetic force acts in the direction of a sliding axis in the gap of a magnetic circuit by causing a current flow with respect to the coil 5 in a positive or a reverse direction to operate the objective lens 7 in the optical axial direction of the lens according to the surface wobbling of the recording surface of the optical disk and an optical beam spot is made to follow up on the recording surface of the disk. Moreover, at the time of a tracking control, an electromagnetic force acts as a rotational couple of forces around the axis in the gap of the magnetic circuit by causing the current of a positive or reverse direction flow to the coil 4 to make the light beam spot follow up to the eccentricity of a track.

Thereby, the link A 252 is turned in a direction opposite to the direction of A, a second drive means can be actuated and guide post bases 246, 258, 259 can be driven.

摘要： PURPOSE:To attain miniaturization, light weight and low cost and to improve the water-proof by adopting the constitution such that at least one reel position of supply and winding reels is varied. CONSTITUTION:A mechanism of a magnetic recording and reproducing device consists of a reel, a tape drive means, a cylinder and a guide member always winding a magnetic tape onto the cylinder. That is, an arm 12 is fitted integrally to a supply reel 3 and a winding reel 4 respectively. The arm 12 is driven in a direction C or D with respect to a turning center 1' of the cylinder 1. Thus, the position of the reels 3, 4 is changed while being rocked to the drive center 1' of the cylinder 1 respectively. Moreover, when the reels 3, 4 are driven by reel motors 7, 8 to record/reproduce an information signal to/from the magnetic tape 5, each arm 12 is fixed by a screw 13 so that the position of the reels 3, 4 is unchanged. Thus, miniaturization, light weight, low cost and water- proof are improved.

Thus, a shifted objective lens position is properly corrected by the resisting force of a flexible printed circuit(FPC) 10 and the objective lenses are accurately positioned at the time of lens switching.
