    • PURPOSE:To enable the prevention of false measurement, by computing the radius of curvature of running of a vehicle body on the basis of a vehicle speed and a change rate with time of an angle formed by the direction of advance of the vehicle body and the direction of geomagnetism, and by limiting the range of a distance to be measured in accordance with the radius. CONSTITUTION:Outputs of a geomagnetic sensor 4 and a vehicle speed sensor 5 are given to a processing circuit 32, change rates with time of the intensity and direction of a magnetic field existing around the sensor 4 and a running speed are determined, the radius of curvature of a running track is determined on the basis of the values determined in the above, and based on the value of said radius, and a contact of a switch S is selected in accordance with a reference. A transmission wave W1 is emitted to a vehicle 7 going ahead and a reflected wave W2 is given to a mixer 24 and mixed with a part of the transmission signal wave. An output signal of the mixer 24 is given to an amplifier circuit 31, and thereby a wave of a frequency component being a difference between said two waves is extracted, amplified and given to the switch S. Then, by the contact selected by the processing circuit 32, any one of BPFs 33-35 being different in a band width from one another is selected. In other words, a measurable range of a distance in front is set to be larger as the radius of curvature increases.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent tires from being stolen by providing a direction identification doppler radar detecting the relative movement direction between a car body and a road and correctly identifying vibration of the car body due to the wind or artificial sway of the car body and the relative movement between the car body and road due to jack-up. CONSTITUTION:A sensor section for transmitting/receiving observation waves of a direction identification doppler radar 1 is fitted at the front section or rear section of a car body so as to face a road, and whether the front section or rear section of the car body is being moved in the approaching or departing direction in relation with the road is detected. This detection signal is fed into a reverse cycle detecting means 2, where the reverse cycle of the relative movement direction between the car body and road is detected. The reverse cycle detected by the means 2 is compared with the predetermined reference value, and if the detection signal of the reverse cycle is larger than the predetermined reference signal, a warning means is operated. Accordingly, the jack-up while tires are stolen is reliably detected with no erroneous operation, thus the theft of tires is prevented.

CONSTITUTION:A resistance value R of a variable resistance 1a corresponds uniquely to the time constant (r) of a time constant circuit 1, and a time measuring circuit 2 measures time T corresponding to the time constant (r). Parameter values corresponding to each value of the time T are stored beforehand in a storage circuit 3 and consequently, the resistance value R of the resistance 1a corresponds uniquely to the parameter value. Thus, for instance, parameter values corresponding to resistance values are graduated on the knob of the resistance 1a. When the resistance value of the resistance 1a is changed to a resistance value corresponding to a parameter value to be set, and time T corresponding to the time constant (r) of the circuit 1 is measured by the circuit 2, the parameter value stored in the circuit 3 is searched from the time T, and the parameter value is set.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the malfunction due to radio interference by interrupting a frequency modulated wave for a random time at every prescribed cycle by a frequency change interrupting means and taking out a beat signal between a part of a received wave and that of transmitted wave through an LPF and subjecting this beat signal to signal processing. CONSTITUTION:Though a transmitting part 1 transmits the frequency modulated wave changing the frequency as prescribed, the wave is interrupted for a random time at every prescribed cycle by a frequency change interrupting means 2. The beat signal between a part of the received wave and that of the transmitted wave is detected by a receiving part 3 and is allowed to pass through an LPF 4, and only the beat signal due to disturbing waves is attenuated to take out the beat signal. The beat frequency is counted at every prescribed time by a beat frequency counter 5, and the difference between current and preceding beat frequencies is obtained by a beat frequency change detecting part 6. When this difference exceeds a certain threshold, a signal indicating the influence of a disturbing wave is outputted. As the result, the malfunction due to radio interference is prevented by signal processing.

Meanwhile, the beam radiated down from the surface 14a of the radome 14 is reflected on a road surface or a lane marker on the road surface, and supplied to the transmitter/receiver 10 through the antenna 12.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct the effect of disturbance due to vertical vibration of vehicle body and reduce the error by vertically irradiating road surface with wave from a vehicle body, detecting vertical vibration of the vehicle body based on Dappler effect from the deviation of frequency of reflection wave and correcting the reception level of the reflection wave from a wave reflector. SOLUTION: A Doppler sensor 10 has an antenna 18 similarly provided in the lower part of vehicle body to antennas 15 and 16. The wave received with the antennas 15 and 16 is detected as high frequency signal and converted to intermediate frequency(IF) signal from the high frequency signal supplied with a local oscillator 19. A lane marker detector 20 compares signal level after converted from the wave detected with antennas 15 and 16 to the IF signal and measures and detects the position of the lane marker to the vehicle body 13. The measured value of position is corrected from the timing of vertical vibration of the vehicle detected with the Doppler sensor 10 and thus measurement accuracy is improved.
