    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer with good operability, which can bring about a desired printing result specified in printing conditions by a user.
      SOLUTION: In this printer, printing condition information, which is held by a printing condition holding part 24, is updated depending on the situation of a duplex printing unit 30 or the like, which is connected as a printing option device 22, and the definition of a printing condition of a storage area in a folder constituting part 14 is updated in accordance with the updated printing condition information. In the folder constituting part 14, a folder for the printing condition is composed of only the printing function of being printed by the printer 10, because constituted based on the definition of the printing condition of the storage area. Thus, the printing result corresponds to the printing condition capable of being specified by a host device 50, and the printer can bring about the desired printing result which is specified in the printing condition by the user.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device by which time required until the finish of printing is shortened even in the case that a multicolor toner image and a monochromatic toner image coexist as the toner image of plural surfaces formed at an intermediate transfer body.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor by which a color is adjusted in an excellent way corresponding to a background color of recording paper without much cost increase. SOLUTION: Expanded image data are stored in an image data storage means 4 of the image processing unit 1. Background color information obtained by referencing a background color sample book on which background information corresponding to each sample is described is given to a background color information input means 7. A color information conversion parameter storage section 8 stores primary color information at a background color reference white point corresponding to the background color information, a color information conversion means 9 uses primary color information of the reference white color point of the background obtained by the color information conversion parameter storage section 8 to covert the color information of the image data stored in the image data storage means 4 into information corresponding to the background color. The user has only to input the background color information from the background color sample book to make excellent color adjustment corresponding to the background color of the recording paper.
