    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the thermal NOx discharged from a combustion heater by realizing two stage combustion without raising such a problem that the structure of the heater becomes more complicated, the cost of the heater becomes higher, the size of the heater becomes larger, and so on. SOLUTION: This combustion heater is provided with a first heat chamber 8 forming a first combustion chamber 11 provided with a fuel vaporizing means, such as the wick 9, etc., a second heat chamber 13 forming a second combustion chamber 14 connected to the downstream side of the first chamber 11 through a partition wall 7 having a throttling opening 7a, and an air pipe 6 forming an air chamber 12 for supplying combustion air to both an air supply port 21 opened toward the first combustion chamber 11 and another air supply port 7b opened toward the second combustion chamber 14 by branching the air. Since the combustion air flows from the air chamber 12 to the combustion chambers 11 and 12 in the branched state, the combustion temperatures in the chambers 11 and 14 become lower and the generated amount of NOx can be suppressed although the amount of the air in the first chamber 11 becomes insufficient when the combustion air is supplied to the air chamber 12 by the amount required for complete combustion in total.

SOLUTION: A rear seat blow air duct 2 for feeding warm air to a rear seat occupant is provided with its side of the downstream branching into a lower duct 4 supplying warm air to a foot of the rear seat occupant and an upper duct 5 supplying warm air in the vicinity of a knee part of the rear seat occupant, and a damper for adjusting proportion of air amounts, flowing in the lower/upper ducts 4, 5, is equipped. A damper opening in a side of the upper duct 5 is decreased to reduce a blow air amount of a seat back surface blow outlet 5a when a water temperature is lower than a first preset water temperature, and a damper opening in a side of the upper duct 5 is gradually increased to increase a blow air amount of the seat back surface blow outlet 5a until the water temperature leads to a second-preset water temperature higher than the first preset water temperature. In this way, a cool air feeling by blowing air of low temperature in the vicinity of knee part of the rear seat occupant can be reduced, thereafter a blow air amount of the seat back surface blow outlet 5a is increased with a rise of water temperature, so as to obtain a feeling of heating in the vicinity of a knee part.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an air conditioner for a vehicle imparting no chill to a rear seat side occupant, in the case that an outside air temperature is increases, a target cabin temperature is lowered, a vehicle traveling speed comes down, a solar radiation quantity increases, or an outside air introduction mode is switched to an inside air introduction mode, during a heating operation. SOLUTION: When this vehicle air conditioner normally operates, an airdistributing door 3 is positioned such that a distribution rate of airconditioned air blown off from front and rear seat side air blowoff ports 13, 14 gets equal to a prescribed rate. The airdistributing door 3 is controlled such that the distribution rate of the airconditioned air blown off from the rear seat side air blowoff port 14 increases, when a decided blower current carrying amount comes down because of an increase in an outside temperature, lowering of a target cabin temperature or an increase in a solar radiation quantity. Simultaneously, a controller 5 increases the blower current carrying. amount decided on the basis of both the target cabin temperature and air conditioning environment, such that an airflow rate of the airconditioned air blown off from the front seat side air blowoff port 13 gets equal to an airflow rate of the airconditioned air blown off from the front seat side air blowoff port 13 in the case that the distribution rate of the airconditioned air is not changed.
