    • PURPOSE:To impart antistatic property to thermal stencil paper, to eliminate the adverse effect on a thermal head due to a conductive agent at the time of plate making and to obtain the thermal stencil paper excellent in stability with the elapse of time and feed properties by adding the conductive agent to a porous support. CONSTITUTION:Thermal stencil paper is formed by laminating a thermoplastic resin film layer to one surface of a porous support through an adhesive layer and the porous support contains a conductive agent. By adding the conductive agent to the porous support, antistatic capacity is imparted to the thermal stencil paper and the adverse effect on a thermal head due to the conductive agent at the time of plate making is eliminated and the thermal stencil paper excellent in stability with the elapse of time and feed properties can be obtained. By the presence of the antistatic agent, the hydrophilicity of the porous support and the retentivity of printing ink are enhanced and, as a result, printed matter of high quality reduced in density irregularity is obtained. By forming the adhesive layer from an adhesive consisting of a polyurethane resin and monofunctional and/or polyfunctional (meth)acrylate, the thermal stencil paper excellent in image quality and printing durability can be obtained.

By forming the adhesive monofunctional and/or polyfunctional (meth)acrylate, the thermal stencil paper excellent in image quality and printing durability can be obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain the hard coat film excellent in scratch resistance and abrasion resistance by a method in which a film is coated with the resin composition containing respectively specified amounts of the urethane compound into which the diol having a specified molecular weight and the compound having polymerizable unsaturated group are introduced, and the monomer having radical polymerizable unsaturated group, and then electron beam is applied to said film. CONSTITUTION:50-400pts.wt. of the monomer having at least one radical polymerizable unsaturated group in one molecular is added to 100pts.wt. of urethane acrylate oligomer obtained by combining diisocyanate and the diol having hydroxyl groups on both terminals and 200-3,000 of weight average molecular weight with the acrylate compound having two hydroxyl group and one or more radical polymerizable unsaturated group. Thus resin composition is generated. After the upper surface of a substrate film 1 has been coated with the coating liquid 3 of the resin composition by using a coating device 2, mirror surface-material 4 is laminated on the substrate film 1 by directing the surface of mirror state to said film 1. The coated film is cured by an electron beam radiator 5, and then the mirror surface material 4 is separated lastly.

    • PURPOSE:To inexpensively and easily obtain base paper capable of preventing sticking to a thermal head and developing excellent printing durability at the time of printing, by forming a resin layer from a polymerization product of a thermoplastic resin containing an addition polymerizable monomer. CONSTITUTION:In thermal stencil paper wherein a thermoplastic resin layer 2 is laminated to one surface of a support 1, the resin layer 2 is composed of a polymerization product of a thermoplastic resin containing an addition prolymerizable monomer. The thermoplastic resin layer 2 containing the addition polymerizable monomer is formed to the surface of a surface smooth film 3 and the porous support 1 is laminated to the surface of the resin layer 2 and, after the polymerization of the monomer, the surface smooth film 3 is released to prepare thermal stencil paper. The addition polymerizable monomer is pref. used in a ratio of about 5-30pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. of the thermoplastic resin and, when the amount of the monomer is below the range of about 5-30pts.wt., it is difficult to achieve the purpose and, when said amount exceeds said range, the thermal perforation of the resin layer is lowered. The support can be sufficiently bonded to the thermoplastic resin layer and the sticking to the thermal head is prevented by adding a surfactant to make it possible to omit the formation of a sticking preventing layer.
