摘要： PURPOSE:To simplify a sealing process, to facilitate automation, to reduce the number of parts and to reduce product cost by molding the connection part of a mold electrode plate and a lead wire using the resin filled into a protective box through the opening part thereof in such a state that the connection part is introduced into the protective box. CONSTITUTION:In the seal structure of the connection part of a mold electrode plate 1 and a lead wire 2, the connection part A of the mold electrode plate 1 obtained by coating the periphery of a long thin metal plate 1a with an insulating synthetic resin 1b and the lead wire 2 for applying high voltage to the mold electrode plate 1 is sealed. The connection part A is molded using the hot-melt resin 4 filled into a protective box 3 through the opening part 31c thereof in such a state that the connection part A is introduced into the protective box 3. Therefore, a sealing process can be extremely simplified and easily automated. A conventional protective cover becomes unnecessary and the number of parts can be reduced.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent lowering of the illuminance of a light source in the case when it is disposed in an air passage and to lessen the frequency of maintenance by providing a protective member which covers the circumference of the light source and transmits the light from the light source. SOLUTION: An air cleaning unit is equipped with an optical deodorizing unit for which a photocatalyst removing an odor component in an air flow is used and a prefilter which removes dust. The optical deodorizing unit is equipped with a photocatalyst element wherein the photocatalyst is borne by a honeycomb-shaped bearing body and a light source unit 50 which includes a light source casting ultraviolet rays on this element. The light source unit 50 is fitted to a square-ring-shaped upper case together with a drive circuit making the light source 51 emit light. Herein the light source 51 is covered with a protective member 53 almost at all and the opposite end parts of the light source 51 are covered with paired end part holding members, whereby the light source 51 is protected. As for the protective member 53, fluoroplastic is preferable for the excellent ultraviolet-ray transmitting property thereof. In this way, the protective member 53 can protect the light source 51.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an air-flow resistance and to prevent leakage of light by a simple structure wherein a light-shading member is equipped with a plurality of parallel flat plates with a prescribed gap between them and these flat plates are slanted at a prescribed angle in the vertical direction so that they may suppress the leakage of light into an indoor living space. SOLUTION: An air cleaning device is constructed by stacking vertically an indoor unit for air conditioning and an air cleaning unit wherein a photocatalyst purifies contaminants. A photocatalyst element 61 is held inside a lower case 42. A lower face (light-intercepting member) 42a has a plurality of parallel flat plates 42c and 42d with a prescribed gap Q from each other, openings 7 and vents 8 formed above a partition plate 22. The parallel flat plates 42c and 42d are slanted at a prescribed angle P in the vertical direction so that they can suppress leakage of light into an indoor main living space. Herein the prescribed angle P is set at 40-60 degrees, for instance, which is preferable from the standpoint of preventing the leakage of light while reducing an air-flow resistance.

The light source 51 and the drive circuit 59 are connected by a feeder line 56 and the length L of the feeder line 56 along the upper case is set at a specified value of Lo=300 mm or less. This enables suppression of a leakage current to the upper case even when an AC voltage is applied on the feeder line 56 thereby restricting a drop in the luminance after a prolonged used of the light source 51 within a particle range.
