SOLUTION: The recorder comprising an ink tank head performing image recording, a carriage reciprocating in the main scanning direction while holding the ink tank head, a head link supported rotatably on the carriage and securing the ink tank head to the carriage, and a head lever for rotating the head link while being supported on the shaft of the carriage in order to hold/release the ink tank head on/from the carriage is arranged such that a part of the head link engages with the recorder body when the ink tank head is brought into a state being replaced from the carriage by rotating the head lever thereby rotating the head link.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an excessive load and rapid pressure fluctuations in a tank of an ink jet recording head when a needle is to be inserted into the tank.
SOLUTION: The needle 13, which is connected to a pump 17 via a tube 15, and the needle 12, which is connected to a main tank 16 via a tube 14, are held in a long hole 33a of a needle lever 33. The needles 12 and 13 are moved with a swing of the needle lever 33, and first, the needle 12 passes through an elastic joint 21 provided in an opening 19, in order to be inserted into the tank 11. After that, the needle 13 passes through an elastic joint 22 provided in an opening 20, so as to be inserted into the tank 11. Both of the needles 12 and 13 are inserted into/pulled out from the tank 11 in such a manner that timings are staggered.
