    • PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of a titled device, and also to adjust it easily, by using a linear shaft for operating an actuator, and using an eccentric bearing as a bearing for supporting the shaft so as to be freely slidable. CONSTITUTION:A start signal of a driving motor is obtained by using a linear shaft 13 for operating an actuator 2 and providing a leaf switch 14 in the vicinity of a spring 6. In case when it is desired to adjust a position of the shaft 13 in the upper and lower directions, it can be adjusted freely by rotating an eccentric bearing 15 from the upper side of a substrate 1. In this regard, one end of the actuator 2 is supported by a plate spring 16. In this way, the shaft 13 is not deformed since force is transmitted coaxially and the operation is executed smoothly. Also, since the eccentric bearing is used, a descending amount of a one surface head assembly 3 can be adjusted easily and exactly, therefore, the structure is simplified and the assembling is executed easily.

    • PURPOSE:To simplify and miniaturize the constitution of a head loading mechanism, by actuating an actuator with the elastic force of a shape memory alloy. CONSTITUTION:When a switch SW is closed, a current is supplied to a shape memory alloy 9. Then the alloy 9 is changed to a high temperature phase from a low temperature state of a martensite transformation and generates the elastic force. This force turns an actuator 3 clockwise, and a magnetic head 2 of a carriage 1 is loaded to a magnetic disk 5. The actuator 3 is restored by cutting off the current supplied to the alloy 9 and by means of a tension spring 10. This eliminates the use of a solenoid, etc., and the constitution of a head loading mechanism is simplified and miniaturized.
