    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a door lock having a thumb turn-holding structure which is simple in the structure and easily assembled, by inserting the front end of a thumb turn into a through hole of a seat plate and positioning a cam on a U-shaped flat spring set at the periphery of the through hole to fixing to a stopper. SOLUTION: A holding structure 1 of a rotary member is constituted of a thumb turn 4 provided with a cam 8 and a stopper 9 at the end, a seat plate 2 provided with a recess 7 containing a flat spring 3 at the periphery of a through hole 5, and the generally U-shaped flat spring 3 composed of both legs 3a and a connection part 3b. The flat spring 3 is inserted in the recess 7 of the seat plate 2 at first. Next, the stopper 9 is inserted in the through hole 5 and pushed in until the cylindrical part 4b comes into contact with the seat plate 2, while widening the legs 3a of the flat spring 3 outwards. Then, the flat spring 3 reaches the position of cam 8 and fits to the stopper 9 to hold the thumb turn. When the manipulating shaft is connected to the slit 4c of the stopper 9 and the thumb turn 4 is rotated, both legs 3a of the flat spring are elastically deformed in accordance with the angle of the cam 8 or restored. In this way, a moderate changeover motion can be manipulated.
