    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rust-preventive coating composition that can form a coating film excellent in not only corrosion resistance at a general portion but also corrosion resistance at a processed portion and an end surface portion of a coated metal plate. SOLUTION: The rust-preventive coating composition comprises (A) at least one hydroxy group-bearing film-forming resin selected between an acrylic resin having a glass transition temperature of -15 to 60°C and a hydroxy value of 30-250 mgKOH/g and a polyester resin having a glass transition temperature of -20 to 50°C and a hydroxy value of 20-100 mgKOH/g, (B) a bisphenol-type epoxy resin, (C) a curing agent, (D) a specific tackifier resin and (E) a rust-preventive pigment. The rust-preventive pigment (E) is preferably a non-chromium rust-preventive pigment mixture comprising a vanadium compound, a silicon-containing compound such as a metal silicate salt or the like and a phosphoric metal salt.
