      SOLUTION: A socket part 19 includes an opening part 23 where a pressing member 21 attached to the outer pipe 17 moves in and out. An operation lever 20 is rotatably pivotally attached to the socket part 19. In the fixing device 100 for the telescopic pipe, the pressing member 21 projects out from the opening part 23 by rotation of the operation lever 20 and presses and fixes the inner pipe 18 (not indicated).
