    • PURPOSE:To secure a comfortable air-conditioning effect so speedily after operation starting, by detecting a heat load element in advance of the operation starting and, on the basis of this detection result, compensating an on-off duty ratio of a passage at the suction side of an operating chamber compressing a refrigerant at the time of the operation starting. CONSTITUTION:A compressor 1 is provided with a pair of operating chambers 10a and 10b, and each of selector valves 12 and 13 is installed in passages 11a and 11b at the suction side feeding each of these operating chambers 10a and 10b with a refrigerant. And, each of these selector valves 12 and 13 is controlled for switching by a control signal to be emitted out of a controller 15 via wiring lines 16a and 16b. In this case, simultaneously with starting the operation of an air conditioner, heat load elements such as air temperature, engine speed, etc., in and out of a car room at that time are inputted into the controller 15, and on the basis of these data, a proper duty ratio of these selector valves 12 and 13 is determined. With this constitution, these selector valves 12 and 13 are operated with the proper duty ratio compensated according to the existing heat load conditions, and a proper capacitive refrigerant is discharged out of the compressor 1.

    • PURPOSE:To make an evaporating pressure regulating valve into nonoperation at the variable deliver capacity range o a compressor as well as to reduce its power loss, by detecting the state of a refrigerant at the downstream of the evaporating pressure regulating valve and, on the basis of this detection signal, performing duty control over opening or closing of a passage at the suction side of the compressor. CONSTITUTION:Since an evaporating pressure regulating valve 6 intensifies its throttle degree, in so much that the quantity of a refrigerant flowing in a refrigerating cycle exceeds the extent of heat load as this load is decreased, temperature and pressure in this throttled refrigerant become dropped. Accordingly, temperature of the refrigerant run past the valve 6 is detected by a sensor 19, and inputted into a controller 17, detecting an operating state of the valve 6. If so, this controller 17 outputs a control signal corresponding to the operating state of the valve 6 to each of selector switches 14 and 15, varying each duty ratio of these selector switches 14 and 15, and it controls a compressor 11 to its proper delivery capacity. Therefore, in a delivery capacity range where the compressor 11 is controllable, the delivery capacity of the compressor 11 is controllable to the optimum value in stepless without operating the valve 6.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent a vane from generating chattering when a vane type compressor is started, by relieving the pressure in a working chamber, before it reaches a delivery port, to a delivery chamber. CONSTITUTION:When a working chamber P1, formed by vanes V, is placed in a position disconnected from a delivery port 7 and a suction port 6, a communication hole 21, communicating with a delivery chamber, is opened to said working chamber. The communication hole 21 arranges a control valve, and its spring pressure is set so that the valve is actuated to open by the pressure in the working chamber when the pressure in the delivery chamber is in a low level. Consequently, if the pressure in the working chamber P1 increases, said pressure is relieved into the delivery chamber through the communication hole 21, and a compressor, preventing action of force such as pressing the vane V into its point end rear surface side, prevents chattering from being generated in the vane V even with a small back pressure to the vane V when the compressor is started.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent an oil seal from being damaged and deteriorated by configurating a device in such a way that muddy water which penetrates into a housing supporting a steering shaft, through a gap between the housing and a cap, is collected and discharged out by means of both a circular projection provided to the bottom and a circular groove formed on the end surface of the housing. CONSTITUTION:A circular groove 15 is formed on the end surface 3a of a housing 3 surrounding a steering shaft 2. In addition, a circular projection 16 is provided to the bottom of a cap 5, and (16) is allowed to face the circular groove 15. Accordingly, a part of water drops which penetrates in the direction as shown by an arrow head B through a gap rho between the cap 5 and the housing 3 while a vehicle is running, flows down on the end surface 3a of the housing 3, and another part of water drops goes to the center section while it is floating in a space of the gap rho. Particularly, water drops in a mist state hit against the circular projection 16, then drop down into the circular groove 15. Thus, muddy water collected into the circular groove 15 flows down to the groove 15, and then flows outward along the end surface 3a and the side surface 3b as shown by an arrow head C. Accordingly, this configuration is capable of preventing muddy water from standing in an oil seal 4.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce a pump load by controlling oil pressure which is applied to a reaction chamber of an oil pressure reaction mechanism in a device equiped with both an oil pressure controlling mechanism controlling the feeding and discharging of working oil to a power cylinder and the oil pressure reaction mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A worm shaft 8 is rotatably fitted in a housing 5 which is connected to a power cylinder, and a stubshaft 29 as an input member is connected to the other end of the shaft 8 through a torsion bar 42. And both an oil pressure controlling mechanism 10 which controls the feeding and discharging of working oil to two working chambers 3 and 4 of the power cylinder. And an oil pressure reaction mechanism 20 facing the said mechanism 10 is provided on the other end side of the worm shaft 8. And a bypass hydraulic line 49 is branched from a hydraulic pressure line 47 of a pump P so as to be connected with a hydraulic return line 48. And both a variable throttling mechanism 50, the opening area of which varies depending on a car speed, and a fixed restrictor 51 are connected to the halfway of the said bypass line. And the said bypass line 49 between both of the mechanism 50 and 51 is communicated to reaction chamber 31 and 32 through a hydraulic line 52.
