CONSTITUTION:The striking means 4 of the elastic wave generating device consists of the actuator that consists of a yoke 4d, a fixed iron core 4e fixed the yoke 4d, a movable iron core 4f which moves contacting and leaving the fixed iron core 4e, and electric winding 4g which is wound around the magnetic path consisting of the fixed iron core 4e and movable iron core 4f and moves the movable iron core 4f with magnetic flux produced in this magnetic path by being fed with electricity and is fixed on the flat plate. Then, the striking means 4 consisting of the electromagnetic actuator is fixed to the flat plate 6 with fixing plates 8a and 9a and bolts 8d and 9b. Therefore, a strike piece need not be drawn by a hand, etc., the operability is improved, and the device is made compact on the whole.

摘要： PURPOSE:To test the dynamical properties of ground by applying a dynamic wave-form load to the ground by a method in which a static load is applied through a loading plate to the ground by means of an oil-pressure actuator and then the pressure of the working oil of the actuator is varied. CONSTITUTION:A loading plate 32 with an oil-pressure type actuator 33 is put into a hole formed under the ground and then a pressure oil is sent to the actuator 33 through a valve 41 by means of an oil-pressure pump 34 to apply a given static load to the ground through the loading plate 32. Then, by driving a motor 42, a cylinder 13 is moved in a rocking manner through a change gear 10, a crank mechanism 25, and a connecting rod 26, and a piston 2 moves reciprocally while an oil-pressure piston-cylinder device 1 moves in a rocking manner on the shaft 16 as a supporting point. Thus, the pressure of the working oil in the oil- pressure cylinder 14 is varied, the pressure variation is transmitted through pipes 36 and 40 to the cylinder of the oil-pressure type actuator 33, and thereby the pressure of the working oil in the cylinder is varied, whereupon a dynamic wave-form load is applied to the ground by the loading plate 32.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent adverse influence owing to reaction from appearing on the outside by combining a hollow exciting body and a driving body located in its inside and cooperatively moving these in mutually opposite directions. CONSTITUTION:A probe 14 has a hollow exciting body 12 provided freely movably in one direction, and a driving body 13 is provided therein. Both are made movable relatively in opposite directions by the command from the outside. If force F4 is acted from the driving body 13 to the body 12, and the force F is acted upon a hole wall 5 through water 1 in hole, force F5(=F4) acts upon the driving body 13 as well but no forces other than F act upon the hole wall 5. Namely, the influence of reaction does not act upon the hole wall. If both are driven nonimpulsively by controlling stroke, S waves are generated and if they are collided, P waves are generated as well.
