    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an internal combustion engine free from erroneously determining the abnormality of an atmospheric pressure measuring sensor even when the internal pressure of a case is temporarily changed.SOLUTION: The control device of the internal combustion engine is provided with: a control circuit controlling the internal combustion engine using atmospheric pressure as a part of control parameters; the atmospheric pressure measuring sensor measuring the atmospheric pressure; the case storing at least a part of the control circuit and the atmospheric pressure measuring sensor; and an atmospheric pressure measuring sensor abnormality determination means determining the abnormality of the atmospheric measuring sensor on the basis of the atmospheric pressure measured value measured by the atmospheric pressure sensor. The atmospheric measuring abnormality determining means is constructed so as to determine that the atmospheric pressure measuring sensor is abnormal when the variation of the atmospheric pressure measured value per unit time is larger than a prescribed value and a condition that the variation is larger than the prescribed value is continued for equal to or above a prescribed time.
