    • PURPOSE:To facilitate reduction of entire size and weight of a printer, by constructing a serial printer such that single revolution of a spindle is splitted into tree partial revolutions so as to carry out a series of operations, i.e. selection of type, printing, paper feed and reset of type wheel, sequentially. CONSTITUTION:Single revolution of a spindle 48 and a main gear 40 and a main cam member 50 rotatable integrally with the spindle 48 is splitted into three partial revolutions, where the first clockwise rotary angle range is allocated for type selection process, and the second and third rotary angle ranges are allocated respectively for printing process and paper feed process. A pause cam face 50a contactable with a cam follower 51 at the initial position and provides detent function for positioning the main cam member 50, a press cam face 50b having same radius of R1 corresponding to the initial part of type selection process and printing process, a print cam face 50c corresponding to the central part of printing process and a reset cam face 50d having same radius R2 corresponding to the final part of printing process and paper feed process (reset process) are formed on the main cam member 50.

    • PURPOSE:To make it possible to always efficiently perform printing at the proper position to a member to be printed, by controlling the titled apparatus by the position detection signal of the member to be printed having reached a printing position and the speed detection signal of the preceding member to be printed. CONSTITUTION:Before the feed of a strip like sheet 1 to the direction shown by an arrow A is started, it is preset what number is a mark 3 to be counted in a speed sensor 6. When the feed of the strip like sheet 1 is started, the speed sensor 6 starts to count the number of marks and detects this count pulse to send the same to a control unit 7. In almost synchronous relation to this, a position sensor 5 detects the mark 3 passed. The control unit 7 stands by in order to judge whether the peripheral speed of the strip like sheet 1 is always constant and controls said peripheral speed on the basis of the detection signals from the sensors 5, 6 and the operation order by this control signal is applied to the drive motor 9 in the side of a printing mechanism 8.

      1 . The book 1 is sent to a saving part 9 in the direction of an arrow head B by the reverse drive of the motor M and feed rolls R3WR5 and a saving roll R7. Here the characters 'used' is printed by a print roll R9.

    • PURPOSE:To enable simple and smooth selection and control of feed of papers, by a method wherein a paper receiving passage forms a lateral T type, free-longitudinal folding papers and longitudinal folding papers are received differently from each other to properly adjust attitudes of both papers to deliver them to a common delivery port, and steel ball solenoids are controlled. CONSTITUTION:3 shafts of a shaft 206 of a free-longitudinal folding paper introduction system driving roller 208, the roller shafts of driving rollers 216 and 286 of a longitudinal fold paper introduction system, and an edge truing feed system, and a roller 238 of a 90 deg. turn feed system are coupled to the main power system of a 90 deg. turn unit mechanism 200 in a relation in that the 3 shafts are rotated at the same speed. Papers through the two systems are differently received. In the longitudinal folding paper introduction system, rollers 292, 294, and 296 are pressed against rollers 286, 288, and 290, respectively through energization of a solenoid 299, and the papers are driven to resistors 262 and 264. In an edge truing feed system, the papers become free through energization of steel ball solenoids 274, 278, 295, and 291, and the papers are restored to a flatness with a repulsion force. The edge is brought into contact with resistors 262 and 264 to properly adjust attitude and position, a position is precisely ensured by a resistor 266, and the papers are discharged to the sample paper discharge port.

CONSTITUTION:A base plate 13 is provided in a casing 11, a front plate of the casing 11 is provided with a takeout port 15 on the upper side of the base plate 15, stopper pieces 16 are provided on side plates of the casing 15 on both sides of the port 15, the lift member 17 is liftably fitted to a back plate of the casing, and the stamp support plate 20 is fitted to the member 17. With a switch operating panel 43 depressed, a roller 42 fitted to an eccentric member 41 is rotated to lift up a lift plate 17a, and rubber rollers 26, 27 are moved forward concurrently with an upward movement of the feeding arms 24, 25 while making frictional contact with the surface of the uppermost sheet of wrapper P, whereby the uppermost sheet stamped with the shop name, date of manufacture, time of manufacture or the like is delivered forward. Next, when the roller 42 is turned to be located at a lower position, the lift member 17 moves downward under its own weight to stamp on the wrapper P, and the feeding arms 24, 25 are returned to initial positions.
