    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuse for automobiles which has a superior arc resistance wherein a housing keeps the visibility of a fusible part even when a high voltage system such as a 42V system is applied and a fuse element is miniaturized, and which has a superior heat resistance not deformed at high temperatures which is generated at the time of fuse blowout.
      SOLUTION: In the fuse for the automobiles which has a constitution that the fuse element coupled between a pair of conductive terminals at the fusible part is covered by an insulative housing, the housing is formed by a polyamide resin composition composed of a polyamide resin (a) 50 to 95 pts. wt. and fiber reinforced material (b) 50 to 5 pts. wt. of which the average aspect ratio is 10 to 60 against the total amount of 100 pts. wt. of the polyamide resin (a) and the fiber reinforced material (b).

And, providing a stopping projection in the divided body 32 of the one side, and providing a stopping slot 56 corresponding to the stopping projection in the divided body 33 of the other side, constitute a second locking means. The stopping slot 56 is provided in an extended wall 36 from the sidewalls 33c and 33d of the divided body 33 of the other side.
