    • PURPOSE:To provide a projector of less loss of quantity of light by providing a polarizing beam splitter between an object and a lens array and providing a device of changing the deflection direction to the splitter and mirror face. CONSTITUTION:Luminous flux emitting from an object 1 is made to linearly polarized light by a polarizer 9. When the exit luminous flux is circularly polarized light, the light passing through the polarizer 9 becomes half. The linearly polarized light transmits through a 45 deg. polarization beam spliiter 2 of the vibration face equal thereto and transmits through lambda/4 plate 10 via bar lenses 3, thereby becoming circularly polarized light and converges onto a mirror 4. The image is reflected from the mirror 4, again transmits through the plate 10, thereby becoming the linearly polarized light of the vibration face orthogonal to the linearly polarized light. This is then totally reflected by the splitter 2 and converges onto image plane 5. When the exit luminous flux from the object 1 is circularly polarized light, 1/2 of the luminous flux is transmitted to the image plane 5 and may be made twice that when the exit luminous flux of the time when an ordinary semi-transparent mirror without polarization is used is transmitted to the image plane 5.

In the expressions, ν2 and ν5 mean the ν values of the 2nd and the 5th lenses to a d-line, δθ2 and δθ5 mean the anomalous dispersibility of the 2nd and the 5th lenses. R5 means the radius of curvature of the surface of the 3rd lens on an image side, R1 , R3 and R6 mean the radii of curvature of the surfaces of the 1st, the 2nd and the 4th lenses on the object side, R8 and R10 mean the radii of curvature of the surfaces of the 5th and 6th lenses on the image side. D5 means the distance between the 3rd and the 4th lenses. (f) is the focal distance of a lens entire system, ϕi is the refractive power of the i-th lens and δθi the anomalous dispersibility of the i-th lens.

    • PURPOSE:To simplify the structure and to decrease the number of components by providing a driving member with a distance setting means which moves a photographic lens to a focusing position by the rotation of the driving member and exposure operation areas wherein exposure operation is carried out according to the focusing position of the photographic lens. CONSTITUTION:The driving member 3 is provided with the distance setting means 6 which moves the photographic lens to the focusing position by the rotation of the driving member 3 and also provided with the exposure operation areas 3a and 3b wherein the exposure operation is performed according to the focusing position of the photographic lens. When a focusing signal is outputted from an automatic focusing device, a motor M rotates the driving member 3 and the distance setting means 6 moves the photographic lens to the focusing position. At the same time, a selector lever 4 is rotated in the exposure area of the driving member 3 and a sector mechanism is put in operation for the exposure. Consequently, the shutter is simplified in structure on the whole and the number of components is decreased.
