    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with a problem that a gas appliance is not desired to be used as it is since a plug of a gas supply port of a gas appliance has a plurality of shapes, a plug to which a joint member is connected has a shape different from a plug to which a rubber pipe is directly connected and a reliable connection cannot be achieved when a plug for a joint member is erroneously connected directly to the rubber tube. SOLUTION: A tip part 28a of an arm part 28 is situated in proximity to a tip of a plug 11 so that the connection of a rubber pipe at the tip part 28a is obstructed even when an attempt is made to directly connect the rubber pipe to the plug 11. When connecting a joint member, on the other hand, a tip of the joint member abuts on an inclined part 28b to be bent to expand the arm part 28 outside.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint with a checker for allowing the determination of a completely-connected state or not while minimizing the whole dimension extremely reduced in a possibility of breaking a checker during operation, packing or transportation.
      SOLUTION: The checker 3 is composed of a plate body 30, and a locking part 31 protruded from the attached side face of the plate body 30. The pipe joint 1 has an insertion hole 11 into which the locking part 31 is inserted in a range from the outer peripheral face to an internal space, and an engaging member 12 in the internal space. The locking part 31 is inserted into the insertion hole 11 until the plate body 30 is attached to the outer peripheral wall of the pipe joint 1. In this state, when a pipe 4 is pushed into a completely-connected state, the locking part 31 is pushed at its insertion end therein by a diameter enlarged portion 40 of the pipe 4 and the locking part 31 hitched on the engaging member 12 is released therefrom, and then the checker 3 can be removed therefrom.
