    • PURPOSE: To reduce the vibration level of wall and roof surfaces to a vibration level near a floating floor by attaching oscillation preventing jigs against oscillation of hull at the corners of a ship body and also installing a lock wool board of high density to give heat insulating effect and radiation sound insulating and absorbing effects to the steel plate surface of the ship body. CONSTITUTION: A lock wool board 7 of high density is stamped on a steel plate 1 as a sound insulating material used also as heat insulating material so as to reduce radiation sound. Also an interior wall 3 and a roof 4 are assembled in box form and supported by a float floor 2 only to eliminate a direct vibration transmitting route from the steel plate 1 so as to reduce the vibration level of the wall and roof surfaces. Because the vibration transmitting route is long in a batch vibration-proof system, the vibration level can be reduced largely by adding a damping performance to the wall material, and approximately the same vibration-proof effect as the floating floor 2 can be obtained in medium and high frequency ranges. When the rigidity of mounting metals 5 at corners is set large to prevent them from being deformed by the oscillation of a ship, a sufficient vibration-proof and insulation effect can be obtained by elastically supporting them with vibration-proof rubbers 6.

    • PURPOSE:To suppress the occurrence of a defect due to a discontinuity section of welding heat by forming a ground face flattened to the connection range with a reinforcing material on the surface of a butt weld section of a bulkhead, and forming a linear fillet weld section at the corner section between the bulkhead including the ground face and the reinforcing material. CONSTITUTION:The surface of the butt weld joint of a bulkhead 1 is flattened by grinding to form a reinforcing structure D. The range of a ground face 21 to be flattened is set somewhat larger than the width added with the width of a reinforcing material 3 and the width of both the right and left fillet weld sections 22. The reinforcing material 3 is mounted on the surface of the bulkhead 1 astride the ground face 21, and the fillet weld sections 22 integrating them are formed at the corner section formed by the surface of the bulkhead 1 and the side face of the reinforcing material 3. The fillet weld sections 22 are linearly continued, the occurrence of a discontinuity section of welding heat at the intersection between the butt weld joint and the fillet weld sections 22 is resolved, and the occurrence of a defect is suppressed.
