SOLUTION: When a preservation limit having a margin in a designation of motion picture contents can be confirmed, downloading is held and book-marking is performed but if the preservation limit can not be confirmed or the preservation limit may nearly expire, downloading is performed. When a power source is turned on, playback of motion picture contents designated at the last powering-off is resumed. The status of constant communication with a communication server is established through normal television operation, and the communication server is accessed through a link from a television program in the middle of broadcasting, thereby enabling the appreciation or downloading of overall data from a head of the program of motion picture contents with the same contents. On a side of the server, motion picture content data with the same contents are preserved, with a limit corresponding to a broadcast program. In live streaming distribution, the distribution is performed automatically, from a packet at the time point of access, and archive data are automatically distributed from a leading packet, or the like.
